MSNBC is out of its mind over Sanders leading Nevada

Much like the anchors at MSNBC, I cannot tell if this is a good thing or a bad thing for the country. It feels like it should be a good thing, and everything my side of the aisle said they wanted. OTOH, it feels like another goddamn lie from a self-obsessed cult around one empty suit with empty promises.

  • As results poured in, MSNBC analyst James Carville said things were going “very well” for Vladimir Putin, saying “hi” to him while talking about how a Sanders victory would make the Russian president giddy.
  • Anchor Chris Matthews even compared Sanders’ strong showing to the Nazis overrunning France.
  • Also noticed was an MSNBC reporter letting out a giant sigh when she mentions the number of voters at a caucus who had lined up for Sanders.

Carville is correct. Putin is helping Sanders because he knows Sanders cannot beat Trump.
 
I don't think Putin can change one vote in our election.
 
True Democrats have every reason to desperately want to stop the political tele-evangelist Social Workers Party candidate from taking over the Democratic Party.

The full political firepower of American and even international capitalism will throw everything they have not only into the presidential race, but all the House and Senate races as a safeguard. There are more Democratic billionaires than Republican, and the super wealthy and powerful of Silicon Valley and Hollywood also isn't largely Democratic - but have real personal economic incentive to stop socialism.

That doesn't means Sanders necessarily loses. But either way, the liberal Democratic party as it was no longer would exist. Potentially it could be a devastating election season for Democrats across the board.

Remember, so far there has been essentially no negative campaigning and the other candidates are busy attacking each other.
 
What does it mean when the left starts turning on their own propaganda arm?

Try this on for size, the left has been courting socialists since 1964 and now that they have one leading the show, they're worried about what kind of impression that will make with everyone else.

Plus the fact that they probably have at least SOME fear that were sanders to actually win, he might die !

He is rather old, and DID recently survive a minor heart attack... don't they want a healthy communist in office ? I'd THINK so.

Print media needed to migrate to digital decades ago. They were slow to monetize. People don't like cutting down trees for something they will throw out after a day The money is in subscription services and online followings now. The NYT has 45 million followers on twitter. 4.7 million on their site.

Anyone who thinks they're going away is fooling themselves.

I cannot stand Chris Matthews. He is a blowhard dinosaur. But this latest bull about him comparing Nazis to Bernie is a joke. Come on lefties, does everything have to be perfect for you? Are we all just searching for any reason to be offended? Ever read a book? Give it a rest.

Nobody knows if Sanders can or can't beat Trump. There isno way anybody can even make a guess at it when national opinion polls have Sanders leading Trump by 2% (inside the margin of error).

Well, consider the sources: Chris Matthews and Co. are dinosaurs of the Cold War who bought into the propaganda that all socialism is bad. Their minds immediately go to USSR, Cuba, North Korea, etc, instead of Sweden, Denmark, New Zealand... aw hell, every other developed nation that already has public health care/college.
