CNN exists singularly to serve the interests of the richest international corporations on earth that own CNN. CNN is nothing but corporate propaganda. They love child labor sweatshops, love mass immigration to keep Americans wages rock-bottom, and what the government to pay all the healthcare plus supplemental welfare income to their employees, and want the government pays for the university educations and healthcare cost of the children of millionaires and billionaires.

Every stance of CNN is for those corporate-profit agendas. That's all CNN is. Corporate PR propaganda for international corporations of the world's super rich. This also is why CNN doesn't care if the network is profitable. Advertising and propaganda is just an expense line for their corporate operations just like any other advertising - and is a far more cost effect way to lobby and extort elected officials.

Virginia Heffernan has basically never seen a Sanders smear she didn't like; also the tonality of this Op Ed is even more hilariously slanted than the CNN debate; that she would leverage this event to take shots at Sanders is pretty much a given.

Having said that, I'm not sure if her obviously very biased take is indicative of any enduring rift.

CNN, NBC, MSNBC are active participants in the democrat party's campaign. They are not "progressives" as much as they are "establishment democrats". The only thing they hate more than a republican, is an outsider of any stripe. They've gone all in on the Ukraine hoax, and are in to deep to drop Biden. And remember, when they say diversity, they mean color, race, gender etc. Underneath, they are about as diverse in ideas as an ant colony. When they get desperate, and feel they are slipping, they fall back on race, color, or in this case, gender. Bernie was gaining enough steam to be a threat to win, so presto! He's a misogynist. Welcome to identity politics, aided and abetted by the MSM.

While I largely agree with this, they've been pretty soft on Biden all things considered, particularly as he won't threaten the status quo; that above all trumps diversity and social justice politics as considerations, which in truth are to them really a means to an end, or tools in service to the preservation of the establishment.

I ALWAYS get into trouble whenever I drop the "C" bomb on account of the majority of USAmericans over the past fifty years being unknowingly raised by the "C" party in their common core clueless public school lock ups. So I will attempt to be polite. CNN, (Communist News Network), like all mainstream or otherwise government censored/controlled news and entertainment media outlets, is overtly far lefty, extremely Socialist Democrat in nature. CNN is simply concerned that moderate Democrats will jump ship if The Bern wins the nomination. Even though the moderate left represents two maybe three dozen votes*, every vote counts. *Note: Facetious humor.

To be honest i think a lot of the political striffe that exists right now is a need growing pain that we are going through.
The republicans felt it with the rise of the tea party and now democrats are experiencing it with the bernie bros.
People are tiring of the elitists empty promises and the medias support behind it.
Its a long overdue change that i hope continues.

New Hampshire is practically an all white state, and the Democratic nominee will not win the general election without the minority vote. Blacks and Hispanics are not going to vote for a rich, old, white Jew from an all white state. To be honest, I don't blame them. I don't think they'll vote for Trump either, I think they will stay home if it comes down to Trump vs Bernie.
