The UK state media is MUCH like the American mainstream "news" media, in that they always promote and protect leftist politicians and policies, while always being hostile towards conservative(or even moderates these days). That theme is consistent when it comes to Brexit, which, in typical solidarity with leftist politicians, they oppose. {Media >> :donkeyfla}

But here is earlier footage of Jeremy Corbin, passionately pointing out the incredibly negative, anti-democratic and authoritarian makeup of the EU, how it's detrimental to working people, and how EU policies are beneficial to wealthy, corrupt elites! Ironically, these are the very reasons that conservatives in UK and America oppose the EU!

But nowadays, most leftists are 100% on the EU bandwagon! Watch this video from roughly 0:40 to 2:08,and you'll see Corbin's vehemently ANTI-EU speech, which the media have now dutifully swept under the rugs of their "news"rooms!:thumbdown

This guy is one of the most anti-intellectual people on youtube and perhaps the entire planet. I wonder how long he'd last in Boris' government? A mooch or a bolton?

I am new here and was wondering what to post first...and then I came across this and you obviously are deeply misinformed about two major issues here:

1. That Corbyn is some sort of pro-EU leftist jumping on the bandwagon

2. The mainstream media at any point got behind him

First off, Corbyn has never labelled himself pro EU, in fact it is very much a known fact in the UK which is why he was so often pushed to pick a side, and he did not, choosing to stay neutral so he did not lose chunks of his voter base either way...sadly that ended up happening anyway, which leads me to my second point: the UK mainstream media has been exclusively anti-Corbyn for the last 4 years, they have accused him from everything, from being a terrorist sympathiser to too old to an anti-semite. The BBC in particular but also Sky and all its media apparatus has done everything to promote Boris, especially during the most recent elections which were by far the worst and dirtiest I have seen in my 30 years of life.

Whatever anti-right, anti-EU conspiracy you think is occurring in the UK is most certainly not happening.
