Business Insider Publishes Groundbreaking 'Expose' On Trump's Salt & Pepper Shakers

President Donald Trump displays his power with firm handshakes, a second scoop of ice cream, and towering salt and pepper shakers.
Mark Knoller, CBS News' White House correspondent, pointed out how much bigger Trump's shakers were in a tweet on Thursday.

Insider combed the photo archives and found that Trump more often than not gets much larger salt and pepper shakers than other foreign leaders or American politicians when dining at the White House. And we couldn't find instances of Trump's most recent predecessors using larger shakers than those of their guests.

The large shakers might just be because he enjoys salty foods like KFC chicken, Big Macs, and bacon and eggs. But it could also be another power move, alongside his fierce handshakes and bulky suits.

To be honest, when I first saw the article linked on twitter, I thought it was a Babylon Bee or Onion article. But nope, quite real, and apparently quite serious.

I’d like to have been a fly on the wall to witness the editorial decision to include this story for publication. Mostly, I’d be on the lookout for a lot of embarrassed faces.

The sad part is that they probably don't think it is embarrassing.
 
You know there was something to be said for the print media where they had time to reconsider their decision to print something if somebody with a brain saw it and saved the publication from embarrassment.

These people are in such a rush to publish anything they can get their hands on, the reputation of the publication suffers greatly.

Yeah looks like a light hearted column to me. Business insider seems to like a chuckle once in a while too.
