The NYT has no shame

The NYT is directly responsible for misleading the country to war and fabricating most of the fake scandals that have captured the public attention over the last ten years or so. The OP is right, the NYT has no shame.

Thank you for the list.

That list, of course, is just someone's opinion.

I do, however, strongly agree that the Daily Mail website is a must read for Americans who want to know about American crime that is often ignored or downplayed by the liberal American media.

Have a nice weekend.

Adam Schiff, a Trump Punching Bag, Takes His Case to a Bigger Ring - The New York Times

" It was Representative Adam B. Schiff, the strait-laced former federal prosecutor who was on the brink of prosecuting his biggest defendant yet: President Trump.

These are heady but perilous days for Mr. Schiff, the inscrutable and slightly nerdy chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, who is leading the impeachment inquiry into Mr. Trump. Adored by the left, reviled by the right, he has become a Rorschach test for American politics. Depending on one’s point of view, he is either going to save the republic, or destroy it. "
Mr. Trump and his allies, sensing the threat posed by Mr. Schiff’s inquiry and divided over how to defend the president against a rush of damning testimony, have united in trying to undermine the congressman’s credibility. They sought unsuccessfully to have the House censure him and have accused him of running a “Soviet-style impeachment inquiry.”

Wait .Did they forget ? Collusion hoax?

SMH

Obviously, you have not read the transcript.

The NYT has no shame

Yet it is Breitbart that is publishing the identity of the Whistle-blower.

No shame nor ethics.

On the contrary; it's quite odd that the various news agencies haven't published the identity.

1) It's newsworthy. 2) It isn't against the law. And 3) if there were such a law, it would be unconstitutional.

What journalistic "ethic" goes against it? Please do explain.

I see you liked MTAtech's non-answer to this question. You planning on providing an answer?

I remind you: whistle-blower laws do not cover the press, and cannot, constitutionally. What journalistic "ethic" is involved?

It is the nation’s newspaper of record, and will remain so.

It lost that title years ago. The modern age of social media has reduced the Times to a partisan rag. It caters to the TDS crowd because without them it would have no readership at all. It's become simply another niche publication.

No it isn't, that train left the station.

Let me try to get this straight: on the one side we have one of the most respected news sources in the world, one that prints its opinions on its editorial page, which is separate from its reporting division, one that has letters to the editors and diverse op-Ed contributors, one which prints retractions when it gets things wrong; on the other side we have a guy who has committed fraud through Trump U and Foundation, who pushed a phony birther theory, who says he doesn't have to ask God for forgiveness, whose staff keep negative news away from him, and whose list of lies runs into several thousand. Obviously we should believe the president's version of events, including his "failing NYTimes" mantra.

Oh, so you need more lists.....

Top 10 newspapers of the world
Top 200 Newspapers in the World by Web Ranking
Top Ten Newspapers in the World - TheTopTens(R)
Best Newspapers In The USA (POLL)
YouTube

So, everyone of those lists the New York Times as either the greatest newspaper in the world, or at least in the top three. Not "one man's opinion", but the prevailing, if not consensus, opinion. So, you have no point here unless you can show me a list of the 10 great newspapers in the world that does not include the Times.

Meanwhile, I see you have no challenge to the financial statements of the New York Times, which shows the business to be growing and profitable, thus removing any claim that it is failing.

So, all in, I am sorry to have completely eviscerated your post on the New York Times needing Trump to survive. Though it was a quaint thought on your part, it just had no foundation. I do encourage you, however, to keep posting. If you keep trying, you'll get something that makes sense.

Collusion hoax?

You act as though Schiff started up the Trump/Russia narrative. He didn't. Trumps actions and his minions actions started that narrative. And Schiff was only one of many that thought it needed investigation, including a republican FBI head, a republican Assistant AG, republican led house and senate etc. etc.

You're upset you got swindled by an idiot and now you want to pretend he really is a genius. The rest of us aren't buying it.

For heavens sake you need to stop watching CNN. The Trump Collusion Delusion was a farce and the IG and AG investigations of that and the FISA warrant abuse is going to sink the Democrats rat infested ship between now and 2020 election. I can't wait to watch the TDS syndrome redo after the election.

OK, I shall. Thanks a lot. Have a nice weekend reading "that" newspaper. Each time I receive a subscription solicitation from "that" newspaper, it is a great feeling to tear it up to shreds. I do not ask it to stop sending me such solicitations, for I want it to waste postage on me.

What is inaccurate in the NYT account? How is not mentioning the Mueller investigation into Russian influence relevant?

The current Republican tactic, used by Southern Christian men, is to attack everyone 24/7 in the hopes of saving the criminal from New York.
