I read something about a report that some lobbyists worked behind the scenes to get the sheriff fired. Did I get that right? Nothing about that is unusual or inherently corrupt. No one forced that sheriff to record those officers.

I don’t know what motivates Kasparian, but she has been weirdly defensive about the topic. The name for the show is connected to a group that was responsible for genocide. For someone who think words like ‘redskin’ should be banned and that words matter, he can be a bit of a hypocrite.

I have done research in the past and, based on memory, I had thought he expressed regret and therefore changed his mind on the issue. Well, he expressed regret, but I see nothing about him changing his mind.

It was not a deflection. I explained why I am not going to click on a TYT video and it all went from there.

Cenk fully accepts the Armenian genocide for what it is. He even expressed this recently on the air, when discussing Trump's betrayal of the Kurds. I would post the link but since you flatly refuse to follow them, I don't see the point.

Having gone through their videos, they're actually pretty light on Buttigieg coverage versus other things; not entirely sure how you're walking away with a notion of obsession.

A group of police officers, engaging in KKK levels of racism, were recorded plotting a conspiracy to oust the first black sheriff of South Bend for purely racist reasons, using Buttigieg's donors to leverage and manipulate him. Buttigieg was manipulated on two levels; by his donors, and by the racist police officers. Release the tapes.

Versus other things or versus critiques of other candidates? I would guess they likely have more anti-Biden videos but I’ve only seen them go after those two.

I don't know what 'linking articles without context' means. The context is in the article. People do this so that they don't get accused of cherry-picking sections of the article. Neither article are heavy reads.

Cite evidence and quotes from articles and give context. You should have been doing this in high school and college. Not going to do your guys’ homework.

As it turns out it was only Lieberman who killed the Public Option.
Simply put, Obama and the Dems underestimated the Republican messaging machine.
We VASTLY underestimated what it would take to counter their propaganda efforts.
In fact, had we taken an amount equal to what we've spent SINCE to prop up continuing efforts to keep ACA alive, and devoted it all at once to a massive counter campaign, we might have won the Public Option.

Geo, Cenk and the entire TYT team have always acknowledged the Armenian Genocide.
Cenk Uygur started out his career as a kid, a Republican kid, with all that entails. PRIOR TO EVEN dreaming of TYT.

He evolved his views on the genocide around the same time he evolved all of his other views, when he became aligned with the political Left. Liz Warren started out as a Republican. Elliot Abrams was a campus leftist radical in college.

It happens.

Again, you came into this thread making claims about TYT's bias, how they are genocide deniers, how it's all about sabotaging Mayor Pete because he's a pragmatist. Yet you haven't done the bare minimum effort to effectively participate in this discussion or substantiate your own points. So I would turn it around and ask you why you're not interested enough to do the research.

I mean they're staunchly progressive FDR democrats (and are upfront about this), they're not going to:

A: Blast candidates they agree with more than those they don't, but they can and do critique Warren and Sanders.

B: Routinely critique candidates that don't have the support to be credible contenders.

Overall and either way, there's not nearly the level of coverage of Buttigieg that would suggest 'obsession'. They clearly (and justifiably IMO) dislike the guy, but that's about it.


As to 'linking without context', if you wanted an explanation of the findings of TYT's investigative journalism without supporting them via incrementing their clicks/views, and why Buttigieg doesn't really come out of this looking good, I've provided it. The majority of the first article is relevant. The summation of the second article is that the recordings weren't necessarily unlawful.
