WaPo Changes Al-Baghdadi Headline Several Times Amid 'Religious Scholar' Debacle

Being happy is one thing, inflaming or insulting their religion is another. It's stupid to swat a hornets nest is all I'm trying to say.

Iran was abiding by the agreement not to build nuclear weapons. Thanks to Trump, Iran is free to make all nuclear weapons they want now. How is that a big improvement? How is N. Korea testing long range missiles that can carry nuclear warheads a big improvement? How is letting Russian aggression threaten all of Europe, our allies, a big improvement?

He didn't inflame a religion, he beatdown a cowardice piece of **** that beheaded and burned innocent people. In my world, he can't do that enough.

I was referring to Winnefeld. He's the one who is getting beat down because he said Baghdadi would have a respectful burial at sea...like Osama Bin Laden did. Burial at sea so their graves couldn't become a shrine...but respectful according to Muslim custom of washing and wrapping the body in cloth by a Muslim cleric. I don't have a problem with that...the last thing we need are pilgramages to a terrorist leaders shrine. There's not much they can say or do if the body is buried at sea...as long as it was done respectfully according to their beliefs.

Whereas Trump uses rhetoric that's akin to putting the terrorist's head on a stick and parade him around to show what a conquering hero he is. He's really no better than they are and that's the problem.

It's not respecting their Muslim faith by burying them at sea so that their followers can't mourn at their grave. :roll:

That is like saying that the British Crown honored William Wallace's faith by cutting his body to pieces and burying the pieces is separate unmarked graves...

We didn't honor Baghdadi or bin Laden's Muslim faith by dumping their corpse at see, and we should all be OK with that.

Be it throwing to the sharks...or to the dogs...the objective is the same. The difference is the US didn't it put on Youtube or Instagram. But the terrorists did...they're terrorists, it's what they do. Now you want us to be just like them, is that it?

North Korea is a big improvement by Obama's own standards. Indeed, some suggested it was worthy of a Nobel Peace prize. It is not like we gave them anything more than a way to back down with face.

The Iran treaty Obama signed was the worst mistake of a dreadful eight years of foreign policy. Every move Trump made has been an improvement, but he could hardly do worse. Among other things, the Obama deal not only enabled Iran to develop nuclear weapons, it paid for them, literally in cash. Even then, Iran was not abiding by it, just going underground.

Russian aggression in Europe is nothing new. Remember Crimea? At least they are being careful now.

If "all of Islam is inflamed" from Bin Laden's body not being treated a specific way then there are bigger problems. I, however, don't believe that was the case. The only people who would've been "inflamed" would be the dbag ones who's opinions we shouldn't care about anyways.

That's just it, they didn't get inflamed because even though his body wasn't buried in the ground, it was still respected according their custom before it was dropped into the sea. Which sea? It's a secret.

entity can develop a bias before it develops a spine.

In a Muslim burial the coffin is placed on its side, perpendicular to the direction of Mecca so that the body can face mecca for eternity. Tell me how they accomplished that?
