Brewer Calls Out Media “Hypocrites” re: Pelosi Finger Pointing

Doesn't it only matter what Faux says?

Did Obama do a personal attack?

I am unfamiliar with the reason for the finger point.

Its out there for your educational purposes. Try some research. Thus allowing you to escape the Low Information Voter (LIV) demographic

So, you don't know the reason Brewer did the finger point?

Unless that context is known, it is not known if this a hypocritical point.

As of now, without knowing the context, it comes of a more whining from the right side.

By your pic posted, it suggests it was a policy issue? And not a personal attack on one's character, as the Pelosi/tRUMP case?

So, it seems this is turning into whining.

The big question is how come you don't know why Gov Brewer took Obama to task.

Didn't he disagree with her about her book's characterization of a meeting they had had, which she had told reporters was very cordial. But the book was meant to stir up the base, and she changed her story. He questioned her about that, and she took umbrage. There is no evidence that he called her a Nasty Nancy, or third rate, or any of the usual Trumpisms.

Like many on the right, she is quick to become a victim of the awful media reporting on her actual behavior.

You giving advice on being taken seriously...:lamo

Some moderate hypocrites and their claim not to like gaslighting.:lol:

Good bye.

OK, it was because she disagreed with a policy. She got in his face.

Totally different than Pelosi. Where her character was attacked by a bald faced liar.

Completely different contexts.

Thanks for playing.

He should act like a man instead of a preteen crying on Twitter.

Truth is a bunch of you Republican men would punish your kids if they acted as Trump does on Twitter. But with your favorite POLITICIAN, you celebrate it.

Ah...just repeating yourself now, like a broken record, tipping your hand you have nothing. Not a shock.

I don't mind any person doing PR.

All Donald Trump does on Twitter is cry like a preteen.

Well, and lie.

Sounds like what you're doing right now. Now ironically delicious.

The media was in outrage over the then Gov Brewer doing exactly what Pelosi did. Americans can see the double standard and will hammer the Dems in 2020.

What was the context of Brewer pointing a finger at Obama? What did he say or do to her?

We know what Trump did to deserve it...but what Obama do?

Today, Netflix makes documentaries about what a great time Obama has been having since he left office. In 1-4 years, it'll start pumping out documentaries on all of the people who went to prison while being involved in discussions involving individual 1, or primary candidate 1, or maybe even convict 1.

Calling it now.

However, the media did NOT take context into account with Brewer. She was considered disrespectful like the loser Pelosi.

Respect is a 2-way street and the Democrats lost the definition Nov 2016.

Gov Brewer was not happy with Obama's Immigration policy and her then recent book where she put him in a bad light.

n Thursday, Brewer told reporters she thought Obama was “thin-skinned” about their disagreements over her book and policy differences. As David Nakamura explained:

Making the media rounds after tangling with Obama over her criticisms of him in her recent book on immigration, Brewer described the president as wound-up from the moment she greeted him on the tarmac.

“He brought up my book and he was a little tense,” Brewer said in an interview with KFYI radio. “He said he read the excerpt and didn’t think I was very cordial. I said we’d have to agree to disagree. He was a little thin-skinned and tense, to say the least.”

Looks like she's the one that was tense if she had to confront him on the tarmac instead of in her office or over lunch. Obama was right, she wasn't very cordial in her book or when she greeted him at the airport. She was a raging lunatic.

No, like Pelosi, she disagreed with POTUS. If she was wrong then so to was Pelosi. The media are the modern day Tokyo Rose spreading their propaganda silencing those in opposition. In full disclosure, I have no issue with either of them pointing the finger. I just take issue with the double standard applied. If pointing a finger at POTUS was disrespectful then, it is the same today. Context need not apply

Trump went off on a 'diatribe' and started calling Pelosi names. Did Obama do that? No. Obama kept his cool...Brewer got butthurt. Trump got hostile...Pelosi walked out. See the difference?

Truth is subjective.
Context is the same.
The biased anti-Trump media has a double standard.
They bathe in hypocrisy 24-7 since Trump's been in the WH.
So you can show that Obama called the woman a name, was disrespectful to her in some way, and that's why she had her finger in his face?

Yeah because Donald Trump doesn't cry on Twitter and he's a straight shooter.

When Trump Republicans look in the mirror are they actually proud of themselves?

I do see the difference. I have made my point. Double standard. Context is irrelevant

1. We are not children.

2. President Obama's two election wins were historic in our country's tortured history.

3. Therefore, there is a gentleman's agreement among the vast majority of Americans that one should always be very respectful of President Obama.

a. In plain English, if one has nothing positive to say about President Obama, then keep silent.

4. In the case of President Trump, many people feel that there are no limits to what one is allowed to say about him, even including the most personal details. Hollywood "celebrities" can say the most vulgar things about him, Congress people can call for him to be caged up, and the Speaker of the House feels perfectly comfortable in pointing her finger at the 45th president of the United States of America.

That is just how the cookie crumbles.

Why was Brewer pointing her finger at Obama at the time? Why was Pelosi pointing her finger at Trump?

Context is everything. I have no trouble believing that Brewer was being disrespectful to someone trying to behave professionally, and that Pelosi was defending herself from an unprofessional bully. Barack Obama carried himself professionally and always tried to behave in a way that was above reproach. I saw it almost every day during his presidency with my own two eyes and heard it with my own two ears. Donald Trump is unprofessional, crass, and a bully who doesn't care to behave in a manner that would suggest that he is above reproach. I see it almost every day with my own two eyes and hear it with my own two ears.

If there is evidence to suggest otherwise. I'm all ears. Otherwise, it's safe to assume that Brewer was out of line in the first picture, and that Trump was out of line in the second.

Brewer was on the tarmac yelling at Obama because he criticized her after she called him dismissive and patronizing in the book she was selling. So she stuck her finger in his face.

Pelosi was across the table from Trump and dozens of other people were in the room as they were arguing en masse over Trump's ignorant decision about Syria.

I'm sorry Brewer has chosen to martyr herself here. Nobody cares, and it isn't the same situation anyway. But maybe her book sales weren't good and she needs to get back in the news? I don't know.
