Exactly. It's not just projection either (although it definitely plays a role)... going back to 1992, the Democratic ticket has won the popular vote in 6 of the last 7 Presidential elections. Republicans know that they're sailing against the political winds - their only hope is to make people so cynical about politics that they just don't show up to vote. That's why we have the politics of personal destruction... it's an industry, going back to the avalanche that flattened Gary Hart back in '87. The whole attitude is to do whatever it takes to tar the opposition - make up imaginary scandals, blow up insignificant things into the end of the world - never fail to make a mountain out of every molehill you come across.

And I can't argue the fact that's it's all been effective.... despite their weak electoral record, the Republicans have been remarkably effective at controlling the political narrative since the Reagan era. The problem is that they've weakened the foundations of our democracy in the process. Republican political success by using the politics of personal destruction has come at the cost of weakening the republic itself. If we keep going down this road, there's definitely going to be a reckoning. We're all going to have to decide what we are first - Republicans/Democrats or Americans - and recognize that by going to extremes in the service of one brings detriment to the other.

It's a Pandora's box that we're now stuck with and no one seems to be able to control. There was a semblance of decorum in past election cycles, but this go around the axels broke and it's all run itself into a ditch. We can blame Trump entirely, but he's just the culmination of what's been brewing; the example of what can happen when the limits of what you can destroy gets put in the bin. I like to hope that there will be a reversal (though I suspect a slow one), but I too am worried whether the fragmentation that's grown significantly in the past few years can be fixed.

As Joe Biden said, Democrats should no longer care about facts. Your message earns another Corporate-fascist Democratic Party blind-loyalty gold star.

right wing nonsense that makes no rational sense.

There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.... John Rogers

I think it needs to be a grassroots thing... people need to stop giving blind loyalty to either party and start thinking for themselves. Just because President Trump shouts something at a political rally doesn't make it true. That's kind of the point I was trying to make to VanceMack - I'm not against investigations of people who may have committed crimes. If there's a legitimate allegation to be made against anyone, then appoint a Special Counsel and have them legally investigate the hell out of it. Put up or shut up. But there's a world of difference between prosecution and persecution.... having Rudy Guiliani going around the world digging up dirt on political rivals is clearly the latter. If anyone can't see the difference between the two propositions then they clearly aren't doing enough thinking about it.

I used to download his podcast a few years ago and had to quit because it was just too much obvious BS. I couldn't quite figure out what he was trying to do, but it wasn't IMO honest and I just didn't feel like wading through his BS anymore.

That's the first one I've heard (seen now...) in a long time and it confirms my previous decision. I hit stop on this one when he laundered outright garbage from John Solomon as if it's fact, and it's just....bull****.

He does it with great comedy mixed in too.. He shows how the MSM have overwhelmingly covered it up, with but a few, scattered exceptions.

What's worse, is that these democrats were actually supporting the pro-Russian, pro-Putin leadership in Ukraine, against the soveign, independent will of the Ukrainian people!! He shows how Trump previously attempted to do business in Russia starting way back, including attempts to build hotels there, but FAILED due to his LACK of ties and connections to Putin, the Russian oligarchs etc. The Clintons didn't lack those ties, so they and their political allies profited greatly by doing business with, and opening our doors to Putin!

Most of the reports he shows here are from MSM sources, that were only lightly covered, but mostly covered up! Hence why most Americans are unaware of it. He exposes the Wikileaks emails(that the media omitted), which also add more proof of this pattern of collusion and corruption involving these dems. He shows how the MSM have largely kept the truth hidden from the American people, and instead fabricated claims that Trump was the one doing this stuff(despite no evidence). But as you see here, there's LOTS of real evidence of Hillary doing it!

Doesn't prove he doesn't have ties. Proving a negative is exceedingly difficult. Trump might just be good at covering his tracks.
