Somehow I knew of his disgraceful lynch-mob like ads about the Central Park Five, caught his ridiculous birtherism BS, and was aware of his Trump U fraud. All this before he ran for president. His campaign-opening rant about “illegals comin’ for your momma” didn’t surprise me a bit. What kind of moron would celebrate Trump?

I agree with you that birtherism was idiotic. Ironically, it didn't actually bother Obama 1 little bit, because as a seasoned politician who understood his base("news" media included), he just sat back and let Trump continue putting his foot in his mouth over the issue, to Obama's benefit!

I'm not aware of Trump saying that "immigrants are coming after your momma" though..... The media and dems have largely lied and intentionally misrepresented Trump's comments on immigration(and on many other issues). The best example is when Trump pointed out the fact that MOST illegal immigrant females are RAPED on their way here.... He talked about the fact that there are obviously a lot of bad people who are committing these rapes. Thats a fact that "progressives", dems and the media SHOULD be greatly concerned with. But they aren't....

Instead of actually reporting on the obvious dangers of illegal immigration, including that most will be raped, the dems and media fabricated the claim that "Trump was calling all Mexicans rapists"! That media claim doesn't even make sense! It's like if Obama said "there's a serious gang problem among young, inner city black men", only for a bunch of hyper-partisan scumbags to falsely claim that "Obama called ALL black people violent gangsters". Only the most blind, naive haters would buy into either of those idiotic stories!

But if the dems, the media and the progressive base truly cared about illegal immigrant women, they wouldn't ignore the problem, and twist it into a dishonest, politically motivated attack on a political enemy! They would be up front and honest about it, and they would WIDELY REPORT IT, so that more Mexican women are made aware of the horrible risks involved in taking that journey!

Instead, they keep it hushed up, they attack Republicans who dare expose it, and they continue encouraging ever MORE women to put themselves in that horrible position, so that eventually the left will have a larger supply of reliable voters here in America!

No, unlike Hillary's scrubbed server and her 15 personal smartphones that her aides destroyed with hammers so that there was NO evidence for investigators, the Iraqi WMD, 's were never found, and most probably never existed, aside from his previous chemical weapon stockpiles which were probably destroyed years earlier.

Maybe Rachel Maddow and most of the other cast of characters in today' s MSM can restart the search for Iraqi WMD's.. Oh wait, they won't have time for that. They are too busy searching for evidence of Trump/Russia collusion in the Muller report(it may be cryptically hidden in disappearing ink, between the lines), all the while they are dutifully hiding the actual collusion and corruption involving the democrats. Sigh, I don't think they'll have time to look for WMD's....

I refer you to Trump’s opening comments on the undocumented. He said simply “they’re rapists.” He didn’t express any concern for those who might have been attacked on their journey. I don’t recall him saying that most are raped during their journey, nor do I know that to be true. Progressives like me just want Trump to adhere to US law and treaty obligations, instead of claiming that immigrants “infest” us and promoting a full court press in every area of immigration.

And please, the reason that immigrant voters trend democratic is because democrats tend to support working class issues and attack those who demonize immigrants. If republicans did the same, they would pick up some votes too.

Ya know, you guys must be well and truly blindered not to know who's responsible for your illegal immigrant problem. Conservatives tell each other how Democrats encourage illegal immigration to recruit voters and promise them "free stuff" but you must know, when you think about it alone, that that's just more hyper-partisan bullcrap. Illegal immigrants are lured into the US by the promise of jobs. Pure and simple. Jobs. And if you think It's Democrats who are making big bucks off cheap labour you've just traded one set of blinders for another.
All this talk about walls and military and hordes in caravans is just agit-prop fear mongering fed to the clamouring unwashed masses to keep them distracted from the real problem and real solution. I'm talking about arresting and convicting greedy bastard employers who hire them. And none of those country-club white-collar prisons either. Lock up a few motel owners and landscaping contractors and golf course operators and yes, CEO's (show them where the buck stops) in the general population at Rikers Island or Angola and watch your problem evaporate.
We all know this will never happen and we all know why. But you can always keep up the bleating about Dems and dribbling foam down your chin about how a wall is a patriotic necessity and the cheap labour pool will continue entering your country through legal routes. And you'll continue to be dutiful parrots and useful idiots to your puppeteers.
