I can predict this "dirt" now. Basically, Jacob Wohl and the 4chan army has screenshots of whenever someone called Dear Leader a meanie on twitter or facebook. Or affidavits saying Mr. Reporter picked his nose once in third grade. Or an obscure, out of context, sarcastic tweet from 5 or 10 years ago.

The right tried this countless times already. James Gunn being the biggest example and they gave him two jobs and a raise after the fizzle! Honestly, I say, bring it on. These guys have less credibility than a tabloid in shoprite.

A loose network of conservative operatives allied with the White House is pursuing what they say will be an aggressive operation to discredit news organizations deemed hostile to President Trump by publicizing damaging information about journalists.

It is the latest step in a long-running effort by Mr. Trump and his allies to undercut the influence of legitimate news reporting.

First, if you want us on the left to do so something that most of us already do...then perhaps you folks on the right should do it before pointing fingers. You have a president and plenty of pundits and "news" organizations that routinely do not do what you just suggested. So, take your side to task first.

No, not everything Trump does is bad. but what isn't bad, is plain stupid...like positing the use of nukes on really bad weather. He does do a good thing from time to time, but its usually really small and has very little effect.

Then used smear tactics to pick off one reporter after another.

Once they "showed" a pattern, the Nazis simple took control of the medias by canceling licenses for dissenting voices.

They used the discredited reporters as the reason why.

History echo's again with this administration.
