So what with heads exploding because Sarah Huckabee Sanders got hired by FOX, CNN said, "Hold my beer". A known, proven FBI partisan hack who got fired for lying is now a proud member of CNN's contributing staff.

Some news: CNN announces Andrew McCabe has been signed as a contributor.

Looking forward to seeing the contrast to how folks reacted to Huckabee Sanders hiring by FOX.

Let us hope the man can be professional. If not, who knows what he can be charged with in the future. I'm sure time will tell.

CNN should get their money's worth out of him before the IG report comes out.

I wish him well. Probably got some big legal bills racked up, and maybe more coming. I'm sure he needs the income. This is likely CNN staffing to address the events which will unfold in the next few months.

It will be interesting to see McCabe report on himself.

They needed a replacement for Michael Avanutty.

Seems they always like to get the most mileage out of these hacks before they are actually jailed.

There is no evidence he is a partisan hack.

Maybe Brian Stelter just might have a new bromance and urge McCabe to run for President in 2020.

Love the way you present the two folks. Sarah Sanders hired by fox. McCabe, the known proven FBI partisan hack fired for lying hired by CNN.

Why no mention of all the times sanders stood at her podium and lied to the press? More commonly known as fake news to trump supporters. All of the fake news seems to come out of the white house and she was a huge part of it.

It's hard to picture McCabe as a flavor commentator, unless you like dried okra. He's clearly there to address what we know is coming. I expect he'll last a season, if that. Depends on when the indictment(s) hit the fan.

His cabal's texts said it all.

So what people say in private is the responsibility of the boss?

Is your boss responsible for your private conversations?

Maybe Brian Stelter just might have a new bromance and urge McCabe to run for President in 2020.

Everything I have read points to Brian Stelter as the person that ramped up the self-righteous outrage over Sanders being hired at FOX on Twitter. The show he hosts is titled "Reliable Sources". The day McCabe is a guest on Stelter's show is when irony meters will explode.

Love way you draw a false equivalency between a President's spokesperson and a senior FBI official who swears an oath of duty to defend the Constitution, who attempted a coup to thwart a duly-elected President.

Is your boss responsible for your private conversations?

What part of texting on FBI work devices is private? And I wouldn't have a boss if all I did all day was sext and text with my lover. I'd be fired.

Do you feel that way about those border patrol folks from that facebook group, and their bosses?

I doubt that either one of them are worried about that.

Well, McCabe seems worried about money. CNN otoh, is looking for a way to get its ratings out of the crapper.

Well let's see a life long respected member of he FBI who served his country for his entire career.

And some chick that no one had ever heard of until she sold her soul to trump and agreed to stand at a podium and lie over and over and get pissed when her lies were exposed.

Who will be a more competent contributor???

McCabe has been on TV a lot. He’ll do fine.

So will Sarah Sanders. After all, it’s almost impossible to be a credible spokesman for the White House when no one in the building has any credibility in the first place.

And her “church lady” persona will play well with the Fox audience, which sees itself in that light, when they aren’t gawking at the legs of all the other female presenters on the network.

It’s all show biz.

Trump is right about that. What he never understood is the fact that the press don’t behave like press agents or reality TV producer.

PS. I think it’s a kick that Sean Spicer is going on “Dancing with the Stars”. I don’t watch it. But I never held it against him that his boss was the fool that he is.

They assumed they were private although they did not have the luxury of said privacy. It's not like McCabe was monitoring their texts.

Do you feel that way about those border patrol folks from that facebook group, and their bosses?

I have absolutely no opinion on the subject.

I agree about spicer, I hope he breaks a leg and then some...

He is either going to be professional or.. fit right in at CNN.

I have absolutely no opinion on the subject.

But you do have an opinion on this, a very similar situation? Which is to say, holding people accountable for others actions that were conducted in private...
