Ben Shapiro hit's the nail on the head:

The really pathetic thing is this: This "inconsistent standard" that Shapiro speaks about is blatantly deliberate. The Trump haters are throwing all semblance of logic and reason into the toilet in favor of spin and hyperbole...simply because they hate Trump.

This isn't anything new, but it has been ramped up since the 2018 election and the Weissmann report failed to dispose of Trump like they thought it would.

And any media who try to dial back on the hyperbole and spin...who try to inject a bit of reality to their reporting...will get slammed by their fellow Trump haters. Here is an example...

This is what the NYT printed...

...and this is what they changed it to after complaints from Dem primary candidates and other Trump haters...

The conservative double standard: If a Muslim or an immigrant does an attack, the entire group is responsible and we should act to stop them now. If a white conservative does an attack everyone is an individual and he's not representative of the group.

It is absolutely hilarious to see you guys change your opinion based on the race and religion of a shooter.

OK, so you agree with the OP position that Trump is not responsible for the criminal actions of each the 63M folks that voted for him any more than Hillary is responsible for the criminal actions of each of the 65M folks that voted for her.

No one said he pulled the trigger. Literally nobody. He did however use fear of Hispanic immigrants to get white people enraged and thus encouraged this behavior.

Some folks are indeed enraged about and fearful of environmental damage or the actions of racist LEOs but if a handful of them resort to criminal acts to "take matters into their own hands" that is not the responsibility of the folks who "demanded action" to stop environmental damage or racist LEO actions.

One of the many functions of the media is to fear monger. Sometimes it is only as to impending weather events such as storms and hurricanes, but mostly it is simply fear of others in our midst. Besides propagandists, the media are fear mongers.

I would like to think you held the left to the same standard but I somehow doubt you do. The Bernie supporter who shot up the republican baseball practice, the Warren supporter in Dayton, the AOC supporter who attacked an ICE facility. The leaders in the large cities in America where people are shooting each other on a daily basis. Who do you call out for those events?

Ben Shapiro hit's the nail on the head:

I don't know, Grim. I've been told for the past dozen years or so that, as a while male, I'm a destroyer of lives and a destroyer of worlds. It doesn't matter what I say or do, I'm a racist and I'm bad for racial minorities, woman, the environment and whatever else happens to be the problem of the day. It really doesn't matter to me any more. The hatred the left heaps on people they disagree with speaks far more about them than it does me. The only thing that really concerns me is the way they politicize that hate. At the personal level it's just hate and I couldn't care less if people who don't know me hate me for things I've never done. I do have a problem when they start talking about using the force of government to monitor or restrict my freedoms just because they hate me.

If you want to prove that your paper is functionally part of the Democrat propaganda machine that's damned sure one way to do it.

The above is utter nonsense. Mass shooters can be influenced by hate groups but legally we have always held the individual responsible for the mass shootings.

For example, Muslim mass shootings by Muslims

Boston marathon brothers.
Pulse Nightclub lone killer.
San Bernardino married couple.
Ft. Hood military officer

3 out of your 4 examples were staged events. Maybe 4 out of 4. False Flags meant to deceive the incurious.

He was elected, because people are tired of illegal immigration. POll after poll shows that, including moderates and even many left.

The far left, just seems to be trying to create a situation where no one can ever argue against illegal immigration by claiming that it's just racist and will result in deaths. Hopefully it fails.

It's not a big deal, I'm just curious. Why did you round his numbers (62,984,828) up and hers (65,853,514) down? ;)

I simply relied on my memory and did not bother to look up the exact figures. The guilt by (past?) association argument is lame.

I want to know who to blame for the 43,000 homicides that are committed in our inter-cities every year. I want to know who to blame for the 10,000 drunk driving deaths every year. Trump’s fault, Obama fault, Bush fault, Clinton?
We are a society of individual that do no wrong. We are a society that will not take responsibility for one’s actions.
The shooter is not responsible for the killings. It’s Trump. Trump pulled the trigger.
