Convenience store clerk says customers 'need to go back to their country' in video confrontation

So, a red neck gas station clerk is racist?

Questioning someone's legal status is not hate and calling the police because if it is absurd.

The news is that more and more these pieces of **** feel comfortable being overtly racist in public because they see the President getting away with it and that makes them think their disgusting ideas are more popular than they actually are.

Why are we supposed to care what one minimum wage employee says or does; how is this even newsworthy?

Does CNN, the voice of Leftist "moral panic," mean to imply that this person is emblematic of general American thought?

First they platform a white supremacist (Richard Spencer) to try to smear the President as a racist; now they go to the other extreme and try to use this "store clerk" to show how "pervasive" racism is. :doh

No one denies that racism exists. We see it evidenced every day in this very Forum, oddly most often with members displaying their hatred for those they call "white."

But there is no denying that there are white racists, just as there are black, brown, yellow, etc., racists. People are people.

So then, why should we care if some convenience store clerk acted up, and was rightly fired for "poor customer service?"

Would be interested to see some evidence of hatred towards white people on this site though - I mean, I've seen it, but at a "oddly most often" level? Not really my experience here, and as a WASP, you'd think I'd be more sensitive to that sort of thing...hehe... But, I'm open minded, and would of course be willing to peruse any evidence you have backing up that claim. :)

Yes, that's the point genius. He only asked this girl because she was brown. That's what makes it racism. Even though white girls can be undocumented immigrants you know damn well this racist piece of **** would never bother to check the status of a white girl. No, its just that now these people are WARRANTING making the news. This Crap has been happening all over the country, all the time, it just wasn't news.

Thanks all for the comments so far. It goes without saying that CNN is crucifying this private citizen in order to advance the cause of the Party. This is par for the course. It will just be another few days and there will be a story about a white woman calling the police on a 'person of color' or whatever. We are powerless to stop it.

However, there are things we can do as white people to shield ourselves from crucifixion on the national level from CNN, it's actually quite easy. Say not one bad word about anyone 'of color'. Lower your standards if you must: allow 'of color' Americans to do whatever they want, whenever they want. The silver lining is that this 'allowance' and lowering of standards doesn't have to occur that often: CNN and the Party it stands for allows us to live among our own kind, where we don't have to worry about using faux accents to talk to other Americans or other dumb stuff.

Maybe I should talk to my wife in a faux Italian accent because of her "Italian" heritage. I'll also demand from her that she talk to me in a mocking Irish accent, since that's my "heritage". See what garbage this is?

This (probably young) clerk was ready to be left alone by the Party - living in his 90% brown-free town in the confederate statue-free north. He said the wrong things. Don't say the wrong things when the Party is watching.
 
I hate to deprive people of their income.

I realize, however, that the owner had no choice but to fire the clerk, lest the community boycott the store.

The clerk was, of course, 100% in the wrong.

Like many other people in all walks of life, he did not keep his place. It is not the place of a clerk to question a customer's citizenship status.

I believe most of the problems in life are due to the fact that many nobodies (like me) and many somebodies (like elected officials) do not keep their place.

If someone looks st someones dinner snd says that steskblooks disgusting. Its a statemrnt a vegan might make but it does mean that person is a vegan.

When put into stressful situations a persons true nature often comes out. When someone exhibits a racist response I do not think they acted this way because they feel more comfortable that the President has their back. We have become a nation that overly uses confirmation bias based on very small sample sizes. I think we all need to take a step back and start seeing the reality of things.

We have seen a marked increase in incidents just like these. This president has given hope to hate. He has allowed disgusting idiots who used to hide their hate under a rock to crawl out from under that rock as if they are once again accepted.

There was nothing stressful about this situation. A convenience store clerk had a customer. That's it. He was a dick to this poor girl for absolutely no other reason than that he's a racist piece of ****.
