You are probably right. Trump set of this firestorm so that the face of the Democratic party is four shrill, angry women instead of a rich, old, white guy. If that was the plan, it worked.

Funny about the cartoon. None of the matchheads has a press pass.

Send her back is not 'pushback' it is plain racism. It is the core of trump's platform. There should never have been any doubt in the first place. there really is no argument now. This is front and center his 2020 strategy - to hate on brown people.

Racism would be to send all Somalis back. Inviting one commie to go and improve her own blighted country rather than to make ours like hers is not. Trump doesn't want her to go.....he has made the squad the face of the Democrat Party.

The bar for racism does not begin at rounding a whole ethnic group up and sending them 'home'. Arguably that's in the late stages in fact, just before the massacres begin. It starts with discrimination, verbal abuse, vilifying and lies. Trump's platform in other words.

It's not 'just one commie' and never has been: he's been attacking brown people since he launched his political career on the back of birtherism.

Trump is a racist. So were most of the crowd at that rally.

Absolutely. Not so much his own party. This was almost completely for the Democrats/Liberals/Media.

Yes, I do remember. That was back before the all out attacks against this President. You know...back when the media was outraged when one Congressman shouted that a President lied. Now we have ALL the Trump haters shouting.

When faced with such attacks, I'd rather have a President who counter-attacks than a President who bows down before the masses or slinks away with fear. We had enough of the slinking during the last presidency.
