Rickeroo's official CNN challenge thread

Bonus and it's barely past 9am! Second one today already! This doesn't count though for today's racial ceasefire extension, that's already been taken care of by our good friend the "black Trump supporter".

CNN chooses "African Americans" to identify these "Americans" rather than "of color" or "black", at least in the link text.

African American duo launch '''go back to Africa''' campaign to take hatred out of the slur | CNN Travel

"Black" occurs 15 times in the article, "African" 4, and my favorite, "of color", occurs once.

I've been accused of "always talking about race", so I made a deal with a poster that I'd stop talking about race on this board once CNN goes 7 days without talking about race. Of course, they "have to" talk about race when Trump talks about race, so I won't count any 'Trump is a racist" articles from CNN, to make it fair.

I can't go digging either - the racebait must be located directly on CNN's front page, and I have to provide a screenshot.

I'll keep track of them here.

Who?

How about you have them confirm that that was the deal?

How about you have them confirm that CNN reporting on the fact that another woman said she was evicted due to her race, that that is not the woman talking about race but is in fact CNN talking about it instead?

Something if not several things in this thread stink(s)

Figured it was a lie. You just wanted to create a thread to whine about CNN. Nobody bet you anything.

Well, a headline in Post 1 of this thread, AND knowledge regarding the court's decisions and comments regarding Mueller's indictment of Concord Management.

Is that new territory for you?

Nope. Right-wing propaganda and knee-jerk reactions are nothing new to me. You read an headline and all of sudden you decided what the article says without even reading it.

Lol, CNN literally used the term 'racist' toward Trump 636 times between Sunday Morning and Tuesday Morning (not counting chryons), per Grabien Media. They're absolutely obsessed. Good luck to that other poster.

No, to be more precise, I read a headline about a matter I have been reading about since about January, the case of Concord Management. It was fairly clear in January that Mueller had indicted some Russian ham sandwiches, and those sandwiches were innocent and retained counsel.

Mueller's bluff was called at that time, and the aftershocks are still being felt.

Because Mueller never bothered to interview Assange, it was clear then that he was not really interested in finding the truth in the matter. He was clearly making things up. He didn't even bother to examine the servers he pretended to be so concerned with.

CNN attempts to concoct a story so that Mueller's fraud might be supported and it has backfired. The Russians never visited Assange in London, and the embassy records show that.

All set until July 26th! These two are not new stories, but the racial identification is front and center on July 19th. I'm getting bored with black and white. I'm looking forward to the crown jewel of "American" identification: Latinx!!

July 20th's installment. Here we have the same story mentioned 3 times on the main page. I'll grant that it's probably a mistake for the top pair.

Say it together with me - white, white white!

About 4 hours after CNN's "white white white" triumvirate, we have Americans of the "Mexican" kind:

Where's his agreement? Where's his end?

You saying something to a poster =/= you making a deal with the poster. This whole thing is an obvious excuse to create a thread designed to use CNN to race-bait. That's all it is.

I offered a condition under which I would have a racial ceasefire, and I called this a 'deal', though it was unilateral. If Bruce Jenner can be called a woman, I think I can have some license here.

There is no deal. You just wanted to make it sound like "I want to bitch about CNN" is more poignant.

You're not a news network obligated to report as many stories as possible. They must talk about everything. You don't. You understand it's not the same thing, right?

Wow you must really have nothing going in your life to be glued to CNN 24/7 for 7 days just to prove a point on an anonymous internet forum.

Good luck.

If liberal commie democrats could not promote twisted inaccurate leftist democrat racism, they would have nothing of sensible democrat ideas to promote at all.

I guess the deal was a contrivance of sorts. Lots of leftist media outlets use race - the stories they choose to tell are geared towards the white/black oppressor/oppressed narrative. I like to pick on CNN because they bill themselves as a flagship "news" outlet. MSNBC does the same thing, in fact just now here are the "black", "white" and "latino" discriminatory terms for Americans on MSNBC:

Of note, MSNBC should have used the term "Latinx", originated by white liberals, to describe Hispanic people in a group and not the so-called "male" oriented "Latino", which is more the traditional Spanish language way to refer to a group of Hispanics no matter their sex. I'm a bit shocked here. But I digress - the amount of race-vomit from leftist news sources is too much for me to keep track of. I have to choose my battles.

We all have our pet peeves - some people don't like tailgaters. Some people get upset over 8 hotdogs in a package versus 12 buns. For me, it's CNN's race reporting.

July 21st continued, this time it's not your usual racial suspects (white / black / Latinx):

Capture.JPG

Technically, Hindu does not refer to race (though "India" origin is inferred). They could have referred to this person as "American priest" or just "priest". They chose to fine-tune which type of American the victim is. The fact that this man is Hindu (and therefore brown) is vital to the story, so it goes up as race reporting.

A Hindu priest was attacked in New York, congresswoman says - CNN

Further analysis:

"I commend the NYPD for making a swift arrest in this case and I'm confident that justice will be served. I stand with the Hindu community and wish the victim a full recovery," Rep. Grace Meng, D-New York, said in a statement."

Race reporting / race bias confirmed. "I stand with the white community" if a white person was attacked is supposed to be interpreted very differently from "standing with the Hindu community".

July 22nd's AM installment. The "black Trump supporter" story has been relegated to the "In case you missed it" section, but is still front page.

Somebody needs to get a life and stop posting stupid.

See post #41 for yesterday's version of this one, which make a total of 3 race-identifying articles on CNN's front page for the 22nd (race total today is white - white - black):

Capture.JPG

The headline has been changed since yesterday: from "White Christians have a God Problem" to the more succinct "White Christians have a Problem".

I wonder if CNN thinks black Muslims have a God problem too, or just a regular problem.

Notice he doesn't dissect Fox the same way.

Gee, I wonder why.

I guess the deal was a contrivance of sorts. .

It was a lie designed to fabricate an excuse for you to race-bait.

It would be too great a compliment to call your claim that mentioning the race of a person = "talking about race" disingenuous, in the way that you are trying to use it.
