FOX Didn't Report 8-Month Deficit

Woa! Are you suggesting that there is clear bias in the media, based on which stories they do or don't cover?

Nowhere in that article do they talk about Congress...only Trump.

I wonder why. Oh...wait...Bloomberg. Never mind.

Republicans had control of the House, the Senate, and the Presidency for 2 years. Deficit went Up-Up-Up!

Actually, they didn't have control of the Senate, but yeah...the Republicans don't get a pass. They are part of Congress. They are part of the problem.

US Deficit May 2019 Rises to $738.6 Billion in First 8 Months - Bloomberg

FOX News - Missing in Action!

The people who conservatives vote for even as they pretend to make a show of not liking what they do: "Democrats are terrible on the economy, even though the economy does better with them in power; Democrats are worse on the deficit even though the deficit exploded under the last two GOP presidents while shrinking under the last two Dem presidents". Etc.

Now, it's not a two factor analysis, but they make it one. And because they make it one, they have to know that their own (wrong) analysis defeats them. They have to not care about truth, honor, dignity, anything. It's just about beating those hated "liberals". About scoring points, like a toxic relationship on a downward spiral.

We're borrowing over a trillion a year to fund two GOP tax cuts, and they blame the Democrats for the deficits. It's actually supposed to be a "spending" problem, and you can't blame them for not fixing it - oh no - because it's the Democrats who like spending. Therefore, the Democrats should slash social safety net programs to fix the deficit emergency create by the GOP. It's all perfectly reasonable, not at all like an abusive relationship....
