and only you would be "so glad that 12 elderly women could die" so you could defend CNN and NBC. It was gratuitous that you threw in MSNBC, but I'm sure you expected them to be true to form, even though they weren't blamed for manipulating the story to suit their politics.

Joko and some of the others are positively giddy about the deaths of these elderly people. It gives them a chance to showcase their racism and Birtherism.

In any normal news coverage a nurse murdering a dozen elderly women and possibly many more would be massively covered with great detail about the murderer.

Only 3 people died in the Boston Marathon bombing and only one in the Charlottesville car assault. How many threads and messages did Democrats start about that one death? The media, press and Democrats on this forum are still trying to use ONE murder in Charlottesville politically.

1 murder by a nutcase they call a "neo-Nazi" American? Massive coverage and political usage - still happenings - and still being posted about by Democrats on this forum. 12 people murdered by an illegal migrant 3 times released back into the USA? Virtually total silence. The apathy and attempt to bury away the mass murdering of elderly women is stunning to me.

In all fairness, the media have to be super careful not to offend the activists.

Many people in the media also sincerely feel that the citizenship status of a suspect is irrelevant. And maybe they are right.

As a very old man (82), I remember the days when the media would always identify the ethnicity of suspects.

We now generally agree that the ethnicity should not be reported unless it is germane to the case.

If the police are looking for a suspect and want our help in catching him, it only makes sense to let us know his ethnicity. Right?

My local Los Angeles Times sometime back (I forget when) reported that "young men" were robbing people in a fashionable shopping area.


So many people demanded to know the ethnicity of those "young men" that the Times reluctantly relented and finally printed that "detail."

The pendulum always seems to swing too far to the right or too far to the left.
