I should add that not one these FOX News articles quoted Amash's statements in full ---

1. Attorney General Barr has deliberately misrepresented Mueller’s report.
2. President Trump has engaged in impeachable conduct.
3. Partisanship has eroded our system of checks and balances.
4. Few members of Congress have read the report.

I offer these conclusions only after having read Mueller’s redacted report carefully and completely, having read or watched pertinent statements and testimony, and having discussed this matter with my staff, who thoroughly reviewed materials and provided me with further analysis.

I can't think of a single source that would do worse.

I can think of many on both sides

There aren't 2 sides. There is FOX News and there is News. Others will report exactly what was said by Amash. They will pick up the story from Reuters or UPI. It is by design that FOX is the only mainstream Conservative outlet. They have nobody watching over them for substance, truth, and accuracy in their reporting. Has any other news outlet complained about FOX not covering this adequately? No. Case in point....

I see Fox News, in their typical lying fashion, neglected to point out that McCarthy told a mind-bendingly breathtaking lie about Amash voting with the Democrats. McCarthy thinks Fox viewers and Trump supporters are as stupid as Trump thinks they are. Amash's voting record is public. In this current Congress, Amash voted 91.7% with Trump and the Republicans.

The others who call Amash RINOs and phoney are as disreputable as Trump and McCarthy.

I dont even know how to wrap my head around such an ourlandish claim.

All of them are guilty of coloring context through selective editing and omission of inconveint details. To claim otherwise is to be detatched from reality.

Do you understand what a News Service is? Here is the Reuter's story on the Amash claims.

First Republican lawmaker says Trump engaged in impeachable conduct - Reuters

Amash also wrote that “it is clear” that Attorney General William Barr intended to mislead the public about Mueller’s report in his conclusions and congressional testimony about it.
...
Impeachment should be undertaken only in extraordinary circumstances, Amash wrote on Saturday. But the risk during a time of extreme partisanship “is not that Congress will employ it as a remedy too often but rather that Congress will employ it so rarely that it cannot deter misconduct.”

Did the FOX links above, represent the Reuters storyline? Can you demonstrate that CNN, the NY Times, or WAPO went beyond the News Service headlines? Hint - You may have to use the UPI also... I stand by my argument. Prove otherwise...

Great points. We’re talking about a guy who has a fairly strict Conservative outlook...

If you want to see what divisive tribalism looks like, see Fox News: if you don't worship Trump, you're against us.

If any good comes of Trump's presidency, it will be a crippling of the GOP.

I read that, and Rand Paul doesn't agree with him either.

The Justice Democrats have just begun the process of turning Democrats into full blow socialists, and finally bring them out into the open. It's glorious.

They used to say that about Joe McCarthy. You know how many he found? Zero.

And people wonder why Republicans don't stand up to trump...strictly forbidden. And another Republican gets thrown under the bus, he will be charged with Treason when?

Ah, but it's necessary to draw and quarter heretics, especially those who have been true believers.

The DOJ is forcibly converting Democrats into believing that the state should own the means of production, and this will "bring them out into the open"?

What the **** do you even think you're trying to talk about? I don't think you have any idea what you meant to say. You just dressed the "I hate librul" sentiment in a word salad, so you reached for your go-to synonym for poopy (in your head, not in reality in the English language): "Derrr......socialist!"

DoJ isn't forcing anything, you people have always wanted this, just too chicken to admit it. But we always knew.

You people like to trot him out, but you know there was a identical House committee doing the same thing? Well Democrats have for the passed 3 years promoted their version of McCarthyism. So we're even now; until Barr gets going. I can't help you after that.

I see you have no shame, either.
