Fox News Completely And Predictably Botches Report On Caster Semenya

Caster Semenya is NOT transgender. Whatever your feelings are about transgender people (and that's what they are, FEELINGS), she is not. Yes, she has very high levels of testosterone for a woman, but it is NATURAL. It is something her body does.

Fox doesn't give a **** about being accurate. As long as they can trump up the transphobia (pun intended), that is what they'll do. Here's a challenge to all the fake libertarians - how about we let people live their own lives and make their own decisions. Or is that too much freedom?

It is a challenge for athletic committees to figure out what to do with people with birth anomalies or defects for which the person doesn't really fit into any category.

There is NOTHING indicating that FOX deliberately misreported anything.

There is nothing indicating FOX deliberately misreported the story. If you have proof they did, present it.

I'm not really sure what this thread's about. Is it about Fox's accuracy in reporting, or is it just another anti-Trump screed? Okay, so let's talk about Fox's accruracy. The OP said Fox doesn't give a **** about being accurate, but that's false. The network issued a correction here. If that was the point we can now pull the plug on what is now a pointless thread. But I can't help but point out the contrast between a misstatement on Fox and Friends concerning a minor story on testosterone levels in an athlete and two years worth of one of the biggest hoaxes in the history of this country from the Trump-hating Fake News media. We'll all be waiting until the cows come home to see a correction from any of them.

Love the line that Donald Trump does not “put up with lies.” The title “Father of Lies” was awarded to someone else, but Donald got at least the bronze in the contest.

And true, Maxine W and company have called Mexican migrants rapists, called for banning Muslims, made fun of women candidates looks, said we should torture worse than waterboarding, commit war crimes by killing the babies of terrorists, and said Muslims in Jersey celebrated 9/11. How can one party tolerate or condone those who do and say such hateful stuff?

Sure, there was a correction, but they knew what they were doing when they said what they said. It's typical conservative MO these days, Trump does it all the time - say something to throw some meat to the base, then claim you didn't actually say it. In context, they specifically tied it into the transphobic narrative by then talking about actual trans people
