Hannity To Leave FOX NEWS?

Good! He's brainwashed enough people; to bad he didn't leave yesterday.

I don't know if you've picked up on this, because it's really subtle, but Hannity can be a little biased. I promise if you watch a full 30 seconds of one of his shows, you will start to pick up on it. It could be that Fox news is just to "fair and balanced" for his taste. As we well know, they show a great dedication to avoiding all bias.

Just a theory.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! :shock::shock::shock:

I'm hoping the sarcasm came through. Otherwise I will look quite the fool :p

I was about to comment on your original message because I thought the tone was serious when you said fox cared about being non-biased as possible.

If Fox cared about being non-biased they would not have hired tucker Carlson, Lou Dobb’s, or the three talking heads on fox and friends.

I thought the comment about Hannity being only slightly biased would give it away. That man is a through and through nutjob.

Objective Reporting?! They run shameless opinion pundits all night, invite the guests that are irrelevant but help them spin their narrative and cater to an extremely biased and conservative audience.

Its comical for you to call Fox News objective, I often do side-by-side comparisons with Fox and the other stations, and there is no comparison. CNN and MSNBC will actually bring on prominent contributors from the Republican side on a normal basis for their panel discussions. How Fox News works is that as the day progressed, it gets progressively more Right Wing. During the day while people at work, you will find objective reporting from the likes of Shep Smith, but as more viewers tune in, objectivity goes out the window and it is replaced by hyper-partisanship.

Fox News is a disgrace, but Hannity is perhaps the worst. I certainly hope Republicans and Fox move on.

All the talk show hosts that left fox went on to create their own network which will further segment the viewers into a 100% opinion and spin echo chamber. Arguing with trumpists can be really funny at times, but with the audience fox news has created, this move will not help anything and will likely just push their audience to further extreme networks. The sort of conditioning that fox news has carefully guided their viewers through has made sure that there is absolutely no silver lining and no way out that will save the network. The only thing the murdochs can do to save face is sell the network and resign in shame.

I can easily see Hannity moving to Sinclair.

If anything Liberal media has a center-left bias. Right Wing media left anywhere near the center long ago it seems.

Yep. The “left media” was using right wing talking points against universal healthcare.

From the article:
A Fox News staffer told Vanity Fair, “Sean doesn’t feel supported. He has no relationship with Lachlan [Murdoch]. Sean thinks, Wait a second, I was hired to get ratings and I get ratings, but now people are embarrassed about me? He feels Fox spends a lot of time supporting Shepard Smith but his show makes no money. That’s annoying to him.”

Red:
Well, yes and no.

  • Yes --> You just are embarrassing excuse of a human being who holds delusions of adequacy, Sean, so yes, they're embarrassed by their association with you. You know what folks say: "One is the company one keeps." There's far better company than you, Sean.
  • No --> The network doesn't want to find itself implicated in whatever dumbass crap you and your crony, Trump, may conjure. A campaign is coming, and the last thing Fox wants is to be seen as providing illegal contributions to Trump's campaign, and even though, Sean, you're not officially part of the Admin and are a Fox employee, you're with Trump too cozy for comfort. And then there's the matter of the reprobates, including Trump, on whose behalf you've advocated, which takes us back to the "company one keeps" idea....

I understand they're going to call it "ARN" - for "Alternate Reality News". Alex Jones has already been made an offer. There is speculation that they might do a "Hannity and Jones" gig, with Jones representing the "wing" view.
A perfect pair of crazy ass alt-right wing nuts!

There wouldn't be a tad bit of bias here, would their? The article is based on an "un named, un sourced, "staffer" at Fox". Welcome to what people call news, who never knew was news was in the first place!

There are some messengers that need to be shot. Or at least stopped at the door.

I heard that MSNBC is so nervous about Maddow's ratings tank that they want to hire Hannity for her time slot.
And that Matthews and O'Donnell have the brass so worried about their mental health that they're considering moving them to the morning/lunchtime slot against The View. It'll be called "Loontime"

Let the record show that I was predicting the subtle shift at Fox three years ago. (smug grin)

Or was it two years ago? Two, two and a half....something like that.

 Missed the sarcasm.

Apparently, my humor is a lot more subtle than I thought! Considering sarcasm is my automatic response to a lot of stuff, I wonder what ya'll must think of me  Well, I don't really care, but it might be amusing to know :D

Sarcasm doesn’t translate well into text; there are no vocal inflections or facial changes to give the reader a clue......

I try to use /s somewhere in the post.
