Nadler Claims Don Jr. Was Offered Stolen Information In Trump Tower Meeting. That Didn’t Happen | The Daily Caller

NAdler: “I do not understand why he didn’t charge Don Jr., and others in that famous meetings with criminal conspiracy,” Nadler said of special counsel Robert Mueller in the interview.

“They entered into a meeting of the minds to attend a meeting, to get stolen material on Hillary. They went to the meeting. That’s conspiracy, right there,” he added.

That's complete BS.

"....Trump Jr. accepted the meeting after a music publicist named Rob Goldstone emailed him on June 3, 2016 saying that a Russian attorney wanted to meet with the campaign to provide information about former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s possible ties to Russia.

Goldstone said that the lawyer “offered to provide the Trump Campaign with some official documents and information that would incriminate Hillary and her dealings with Russia.”

But nowhere did Goldstone claim that the information about Clinton was stolen.

Mueller’s team investigated the meeting, and interviewed most of the participants. But according to the report, prosecutors determined that nothing of value was exchanged in the meeting and that there was not evidence that the participants willfully broke any laws.

“Although damaging opposition research is surely valuable to a campaign, it appears that the information ultimately delivered in the meeting was not valuable,” the report says.

Veselnitskaya used the meeting to discuss the Magnitsky Act, a U.S. law that sanctions Russian human rights abusers. The Russian government strongly opposes the law. Veselnitskaya and Fusion GPS worked together on behalf of a Russian businessman to investigate Bill Browder, a businessman responsible the lobbying effort that put the Magnitsky Act in place.

And Fusion GPS was instrumental in getting the Steele Dossier. And Veselnitskaya met with Fusion GPS right after the tower meet.

Totally thread worthy.

The House Dems will never shy away from spin, speculation, innuendo, hyperbole...and in this case, outright lies...in their efforts to prevent Trump from winning in 2020. They know their useful idiots won't question any of the nonsense they spew.

A leading Dem telling blatant lies isn't thread worthy?

"Lies" is plural. You only pointed out one supposed lie. I say "supposed" because it is not clear he was intentionally lying, thereby making it "blatant".

Nope. It's normal.

Like all those threads you started about Trump telling lies?

Maybe Chuck Todd is distracted trying to find all those "countless" FBI agents who the President's Press Secretary said called and texted her with their thanks for Trump firing Comey.

LAFFRIOT

That's your defense. Plural?

That Nadler went on MTP without having read the report , which makes it crystal clear this major Dem talking point was BS?

Oh, the irony.

Maybe Todd's windmill is giving him cancer.

And maybe Nadler and his merry band of idiots just wanna keep the lies going long enough to affect the 2020 election?
However Barr's now investigating how the official 'Witch Hunt' got started. I hope 1 Dem after another goes down for REAL crimes.
By 2019, this campaign is gonna get real ugly. Enjoy that.

ey.

Blah blah blah blah Trump Trump Trump Trump.
#broken #record #annoying

You want to start a thread about Trump telling lies, go ahead.

This one is about a KEY Dem telling a whopper and not being corrected by a major media player. Both should have been well versed on this subject because it's been major talking point for Democrats since forever.

I never start threads. I'm far too irresponsible.

I believe lying politicians to be a normal event. Lawyers, politicians, used car salesmen, Chuck Todd, Trump, Schumer - I really can't list them all. I think your favorite liars and my favorite liars could be different, but I bet they're all liars anyway. There may be some more notorious lies, but the liars are pretty much the same. The chief difference is in scale.

I don't have any favorite liars. I have contempt for liars.

The two can go together. I particularly enjoyed Harry Reid. He was truly despicable. Don't you wonder what Mrs. Reid might say to Harry after a hard day of lying out of his ass? "How'd it go today, dear?"

Did you watch the video? He was talking about the stolen emails from wikileaks at one point. Now, those were not offered at the meeting, but I can see where it is very easy to inadvertently use the word again when it came to the information that was uspposedly on offer from the Russians in the Trump Tower meeting. IOW, it looks like it was more likely a slip of the tongue than a "blatant" lie. Had he repeated it, then you might have a case. As it stands, it appears you're making a mountain out of a mole hill.

Trump's name is in the subject line, although we all know you're talking about his unpatriotic son.

A whopper? You mean like "countless FBI agents contacted me to thank the President for firing Comey"? That kind of whopper?

Why are you watching Chuck Todd's show, by the way?

I couldn't stand that rancid man. When he retired, I considered throwing a party. Remember how many times he took to the Senate floor and carried on like an idiot?

Rancid is a good description. Even his exercise machine hated him. If you let these people upset you though, you're just punishing yourself. The effort should be directed toward getting them out of political power. I can understand why you want Trump out. I just think there are far more despicable liars in DC than Trump. He's a low level liar, and not nearly as good at it as Obama, or Clinton.

Clinton was a silver tongued liar. Obama wasn't a liar. Trump is a liar for no reason. I disagree with you Humbolt. Trump is actually a very good liar, and that's what concerns me.

I do vote people out when I can. I didn't have a chance to ever cast a vote against Reid but I would have if I lived in Nevada. I was so glad to see him go.
