Fox Fear Mongering

Right Wingers do a fine enough job of that. All we do it repeat their words or post an image of the stupid **** they did, like in the OP.

You think...that knowing the border officers gave this reporter a vest to wear...while reporting from the border, is cause for ridicule???

It hasn't occurred to you that maybe the vest was convenient? Perhaps had a purpose? And that if the border officers thought there might be a benefit to the vest, that wise people would maybe LEARN from the professionals who actually do the job?

No...it hasn't...has it.
Correct me if I'm wrong but...I think your 'purpose'...such as it is...here is to make light of a FOX reporter...because he's a FOX reporter. Nothing to do with his report. Just...'Ha ha ha...funny little FOX reporter needs a vest.'

And you think acting in this manner, is gonna help defeat the object of your real hatred.
This whole last 3 years has been absolutely amazing to watch.

In the last midterms, specious stories about immigration and terror were in heavy fall rotation. It looks like we're experiencing a rerun.

The word "TACTICAL" has become of the most overused dog whistles in the English language, right up there with the "lump in the throat inducing" word "soil". We keep using these loaded words, sometimes for some very despicable reasons, and they eventually either become meaningless or their connotation is ruined.

For instance, I used to think of hard working families, men women, even children, and of course SOLDIERS, when I heard the word "PATRIOT".
Now I think of paranoid obese angry fanatics, many who never served, but armed to the teeth, taking over buildings and screaming about starting a civil war, so for me, the word "PATRIOT" is now worthless.
You might as well say "DIRTBAG".

I'm sick of these good words being ruined. I want to to think good things when I hear words like "patriot".
I want to think of good men and women in uniform, of Mom and apple pie, July 4th, sacrifice for country, the flag...not a bunch of self-appointed insurgents plotting to attack people they don't agree with.

TACTICAL...pffftttt, I hear they sell "tactical" flashlights and sunglasses on QVC now. :lamo

I agree. Lets call things for what they are.
For instance...ILLEGAL ALIENS instead of poor refugees.
