Laughing Stock Alex Jones Gets Himself Kicked Out of Lucy's Restaurant in Austin

This is hilarious. Alex Jones' attempt at thuggery got him laughed at, as well as escorted out of a chicken joint.

So how do you deal with a Trumpanzee when he starts throwing his poop? The people having a meal, a beer, and a good time, on a nice evening in Texas, did this the right way, by laughing at his buffoonery.

This clip is priceless. The First Amendment works both ways, Alex Asshole. By the way, Lucy's Chicken is to die for. Eat your heart out, KFC. I wonder what kind of herbs and spices Jones ingested before he began this epic melt down..LMAO.

He's a moron

Yes, times have changed, although your argument seems to be they haven't changed much.

I think I said that there were major changes but that the USA still has a long way to go because it doesn't have the free speech folks think it has.

Anyway, Jones' well-deserved reputation may have led to his being provoked.

May well be. Wasn't everyone ready to hang Jones without knowing how the incident unfolded?

But again, provocation did not protect Chaplinsky's "fighting" words.

I end with the words I have already quoted,

"A legal scholar, writing in 2003 over 60 years after the Chaplinsky decision, has noted that lower courts "have reached maddeningly inconsistent results" on what is and is not protected by the First Amendment in the area of fighting words.[5]"

Ibid

How is free speech in your country?

I realize Lucy probably doesn't have a bouncer but they needed to be a lot more stern with him. This could have easily de-escalated into something a little more violent for patrons trying to eat.

They probably should have just called the police and let them know a patron was challenging others to fight him.

He was either on some kind of drug or he really has some mental problems.

1) No rights, including the right to free speech, is absolute. You'd think that Americans would figure that out by the time they are, oh, 20 years old or so.

2) Yet again, this is not a free speech issue. Jones wasn't booted because of any political or religious views, he was booted because he was disturbing the patrons.

3) Freedom of speech does not mean freedom from consequences. When Jones is an unrepentant asshole in public, people have the right to criticize or ridicule him. If he can't live with the consequences of his speech, then that's a problem of his own making.

30 seconds of that video was more than enough.

Not "de-escalate", escalate. If that was the manager that seemed to be intervening, then he handled the situation and himself very well.

Mkay. I think we've exhausted the discussion, at least I have. Guess we'll have to agree to disagree.

I can't believe Jones gets paid to say **** like this!

His YouTube channel had approx 2.4 million subscribers. That's an awful lot of stupid people subscribing to such garbage.

Probably more like 10,000 people with 240 fake accounts each. LOL.

Alex Jones is the right's version of AOC.
Both are laughable idiots. One is tubby and dumb...the other is a lipstick addict...and dumb.

Because evidence is very important to you.
It is, and 30 seconds of that video was more than sufficient evidence to know that this is not a free speech issue, and the restaurant is well within its rights to kick him out.

Just what a court of law ought to do, look at a small portion of the evidence, right? I'm shocked that you even bothered to post this.
