CNN abruptly cuts off a muslim doctor who says this about Trump

Where's this abrupt cutoff??
She didn't interrupt, she didn't oppose the doctor and she thanked her.

What would you suggest CNN do besides? What would/should CNN have done differently?

So, when CNN allows someone with a different view to state their case, and then THANKS them, you're still not satisfied?
I think I know why, Trumpian mental illness, that's why.

This is a portion of the reason I've started creating distant between myself and the Trump base. I watch cable news channels during the week. In all these years what took place in that segment, I've called ending an interview/segment and moving to the next, or taking a commercial break. Now it's redefined as "abruptly cutting off".

I'll ask again where this woman was abruptly cut off? News broadcasts whether CNN, FOX or OAN do this a hundred times a week with people commenting. They listen, thank the person and go to a commercial or next guest. What's next? The host has to sit and do a 10 to 1 countdown before moving on?

The issue isn't whether or not she was abruptly cut off. But if you look at the interviewer's face during the doctor's comments you can see she's thinking "oh, ****, I got to stop this!". Not sure what your definition of "abrupt" is but the host did her best to end the interview quickly.

The thread title claims she was "abruptly cut off" so that seemed to be the issue you were interested in. But now you've instead decided it about what the interviewer was thinking as the Dr spoke? To do her best to end the interview? How did she do that? By being quiet and listening? By not trying to actually cut in with her own comments? By allowing the woman to finish her statement?

Just so you're aware, these two have interviewed in the past and this Dr is pretty clear on her stance with Trump, so it's seems silly to think the host would be somehow surprised hearing what the woman is already known for. It would be like bringing on KellyAnne Conway and being shocked at her comments in regards to the president.

I have had enough "Bullseye" to last a lifetime, time to end this nonsense.

"Abruptly cut off"?

She made her statement, the host thanked her and the segment ended.

Sure, but it happened abruptly......kinda.....

Cant have opposing viewpoints on Democrat state media. CNN and leftist media outlets seem to be taking queues from Xinhua just cutting off or censoring anything that the party doesnt like.

The link proves the exact opposite of this. CNN had someone with an opposing viewpoint on one of their segments. If anything, this thread is an argument that CNN is NOT the "Democrat state media."

^ Everything I don't like I just say "right wing rag." ^

most the right wing publications are highly discredited. they push conspiracy theories nonstop and rather than hold each other accountable, they try to outdo each other with lies and propaganda.

Both the right and left are biased, both are very reluctant to publish articles that don't fit their bias. I LOLed when CNN put an R before Northams name and the faithful tried saying it was just an "honest mistake"

They were selling, but i was not buying.

Relying on only one side for info will have the same effect.

If you don't watch the news, you will be uninformed, if you do watch the news you will be misinformed.

And the thread title ALSO says "because she said THIS".

From her look that wasn't the case.

45 seconds doesn't equate to an interview segment. A segment usually consists of more than 45 seconds. Would like to see a longer view of the interview if one is available.

So this has gone from CNN abruptly cuts off muslim Dr (which the video doesn't support) to Bullseye has expert facial recognition abilities. How many interviews have you watched of this particular host? And more so, how many interviews with the good Dr?

Looks like you were fed a "look what CNN did to this Dr who was cheering on Trump" and you bit down hard.

LOL, your desperation has gone from humorous to pathetic.

What am I desperate for? You started this thread with claims that aren't backed by the video. Then you jumped off on another trail and decided it wasn't about them cutting her off, it was about the "looks" of the host. Now you'll likely avoid answering the question again. Prove me wrong. :2wave:

You link is to an article that discusses this:

Opinion: Washington Secrets

Border apprehensions jump 84 percent, 606,000 expected this year

The Examiner is a right-wing rag.

This link is a right-wing rag also.

Generally when there is a longer quote it's easy to find the source. Took about 20 seconds and *shock* I got the transcripts from CNN themselves, but I'm sure they are just a "right-wing rag" eh, RV? What clown shoes these types of posts are (not Tres, she just pointed out wrong link so I'm giving that as well).

CNN.com - Transcripts

Maybe, but they're showing to ragginess of CNN with this one.

I got it.

I move in the Muslim world, and I don't know a single Muslim who says stuff like that. I watch news in other countries and have friends from the Middle East. The news broadcasters in Pakistan and Emirates literally think Trump is mentally ill. They laugh at Trump and America.

I also think that the people in those countries are more than willing to work with China and Russia over America, because America's influence is on a downslide. China also wants to rebuild their silk road, and many Muslim nations are in a prime location to also benefit. While they are laughing at Trump, China and Russia are getting respect.

It is in your frikkin' title.
so is what she said. Fun you guys want to argue for hours about the definition of "cut off" but are afraid to address the her point.
