CNN just stepped in it...Big TIME. This is getting all types of push backs on social media.

CNN, a frequent target for President Donald Trump, hired a member of his administration to be its new political editor and oversee 2020 election coverage.

Sarah Isgur will join CNN next month, according to the network. Over the past two years, she was a spokeswoman and senior counsel at the Justice Department. Previously, she served as deputy campaign manager for Carly Fiorina during her failed presidential bid. Her LinkedIn page doesn’t list any journalism experience.

Here's a thread highlighting all of her eh questionable stances:

Aaron Rupar on Twitter: "this is CNN's new political editor… "

That's an interesting strategy. Wonder how long she'll last before she says something so stupid that they have to fire her with a big "What were we thinking?!"

She has been part of the STOP Trump movement in the republican party from day 1.
She will fit in CNN perfectly with all their president Trump hate!!
Maybe that was part of Sessions problem?

She has no business being in there now, she has no business being a political editor or in charge of any political coverage for their network. Unless they want to be Fox News lite, they should reconsider their choice and their apparent lack of vetting. I want to know how exactly she got this job and if nobody bothered to check her background??? So If I have a social media following and I yell loudly enough I can get high paying very powerful media jobs???

what's scary is that she only has 20K followers...

Those bastards!!!!!!

Common sense has no sense and posts nonsense

After Fiorina dropped out of the presidential race, Isgur Flores spoke with MSNBC about the potential for a convention challenge to Donald Trump, saying, "I will certainly hope for a contested convention, and if not I hope that someone will offer an alternative."[21] According to the Daily Caller, Isgur Flores also said that her disapproval of Trump was based on her belief in conservatism.

I suspect her value to CNN is that they can call her a Republican like MSNBC can call George Will a Conservative while they trash Trump.

Ex-Sessions spokeswoman to join CNN as political editor

Sarah Isgur will coordinate political coverage for the 2020 campaign at the network.

Ex-Sessions spokeswoman to join CNN as political editor - POLITICO

Isgur joined the administration in 2017 after overcoming resistance from the president, who balked at bringing on a political operative who had trashed him on the campaign trail. As deputy campaign manager for Carly Fiorina’s presidential campaign, and in the months after Fiorina bowed out of the race, Isgur repeatedly laced into Trump.

Right. A spokesperson for the Trump administration for two years. A defender of Trump's immigration ban.

So basically unless Trump handpicks the CNN political editor the person is a de facto Trump hater. And even if Trump handpicks them, if they would work for CNN they're still probably a Trump hater. Of course that would be in line with a lot of other people Trump handpicked -- he sure picks a lot of horrible people, doesn't he, people who looked good for a minute but turned out to be dumb as a box of rocks or whatever other insult Trump fishes out of his back of snottiness when it turns out they were too good for the Trump administration.

I know. But if she does work out, at least for awhile, then she kinda pulls the rug out from under Trump whining about how stacked against him CNN is.

Lots of people started out as NeverTrumpers and then folded and hopped on the Trump bandwagon. This person was one of them. But Trump deflectors are for some reason saying that her two years spent defending Trump don't count for anything.

When CNN comes to their senses and fires her after she says something that's way too Trumpian for their station, I hope the Trumpsters trashing her now will apologize and say how proud they are of her for being faithful to their orange pustule.

*shrug*

If people wanted Fox opinion, they could dial up Fox.

Geezus. That fat bastard infects everything.

Yes, let's grab our torches and drum out any conservative voices. By the way, the idea of a "liberal media" is just right-wing fantasy!

I thought finally after her pitiful attempt to win the 2016 Republican nomination and ended up being the laughable
VP candidate for Ted Cruz we finally have heard the last of Carly Fiorina. Please don't bring up Fiorina again.

Tim Russert's experience before joining NBC News:

He was a lawyer. He ran one of Daniel Patrick Moynihan's law offices, then served as counsel and aide to Moynihan. He then served Mario Cuomo in a similar capacity.

Journalism experience: zero. He was Washington Bureau Chief after only a few years.

George Stephanopoulos:

He was aide to Congressman Ed Feighan. Worked on the Dukakis campaign. Was "floor man" for Dick Gephardt. Joined the Bill Clinton Campaign was Clinton's communications chief.

Joined ABC news. Journalism experience: zero. Holds a Masters in Theology.

Chris Matthews:

Worked for various Democrat Senators and was a speechwriter for Jimmy Carter. Joined the San Francisco Examiner as Washington bureau chief. Journalism experience: zero.

Paul Begala:

Lawyer who ran the Clinton Campaign with James Carville. Journalism experience: zero.

This could go on for a while.

What exactly did CNN "step in"?

Lots of administration members were not big Trump fans during the campaigns, many working for other candidates. Is it important she has no journalism experience? CNN hire Valerie Jarrets daughter during the 2016 campaign, she too had no experience.

Looks like the corporate media is going to push a Trump reelection regardless of who wins the Dem nomination.

I hope whoever he or she is crushes them all into dust in 2020.
