An example of a politically motivated headline

And you must be one of those areligious types commonly called atheists. You should learn more about your opposition, because you don't make any headway with your line of reasoning.

Really? So muslims and christians aren't "religious"? Would you like to explain why you think I'm so wrong?

It would be almost as big of wasted time as you are of wasted oxygen. So no.

I find it hilarious but also sad that you have enough faith in your convictions to attack someone else on it, but not enough to write a single sentence explanation about it. Christians and muslims aren't religious? Uh, ok, that's pretty nutty but good for you.

speaking of force, what do you call it when the government forces a Christian baker to make a cake for a homosexual wedding with a pro-homosexual message on it? I call that force.

When did that happen?

Id like to know too, thats never happened in america wonder where thats going on?

No, not at all. I actually have no problem with the Muslim parents in this story. Nor do I wish they be asscociated with terrorists or terrorism.

The point was the Guardian’s obvious bias, not the complaints of the Muslim parents

I don't know how you get "obvious bias" out of a story that's entirely factually correct, shows a picture right at the outset of clearly Muslim children, refers repeatedly to the Muslim parents who are also clear that they object because LGBT is contrary to Islam, says the person in question was also forced to resign from another school, also due to protests from mostly Muslim parents at that different school.

Apparently to show not-bias they must specifically identify the parents as Muslim not only 10 times in the article but also in the headline....

No, the article does not say “Christians also complained” it throws in that the teacher had resigned from a different school because of complaints from Christians 6 years ago, it says nothing about Christians in the context of this story.

From the article:

Moffat, the author of Challenging Homophobia in Primary Schools, resigned from another primary school – Chilwell Croft Academy, also in Birmingham – after a similar dispute with Muslim parents.

Moffat, who resigned from his post in December 2013, said then that some Christian parents had also complained. The current dispute centres on Parkfield Community School in the Saltley area of Birmingham.

What can possibly be your problem with that? The only way that's a problem is if no Christian parents complained - not any. Otherwise the article directly concentrates the focus on the MUSLIM parents at that school.

Also it is interesting to have brought this up because the current row involves Muslims so they have to link Muslims to Christianity.

Or the FACTS did.

Now obviously faithful of both religions share the same view that two dudes is not a marriage, but the religiously faithful in the West of Christian variety are typically in the political right, and Muslims vote for the left over immigration and welfare policy. In fact in imam in England told his congregation that Muslims must vote for labour. Well now that this episode showcases the problems within the left between Muslims and the LGBT so the media needs to spin this as equal to Christianity to make it not seem like a split within the labour base

Except they didn't spin it as equal.

Bottom line is you are just upset the headline and the article didn't say something like:

MUSLIM parents at this predominately MUSLIM school complained....

And yes, islam and christianity are basically the same thing and they both pretty equally despise homosexuals. So why the dishonesty, EMN?

Islamic law calls for their death. Iran recently executed another one. Christianity does not.
