Lawyer for Covington Catholic HS Families Threatens Lawsuits Against Media Unless They Retract False

This is probably one of the most lowest posts that i have seen from you yet.
These boys did nothing wrong.

They were simply there for an event excerising a right when they were verbally assaulted by
the radical left wing nut jobs. Those black guys and indian guy who is a activist by the way.

were the ones that got in their face and started calling them names. the boys did nothing wrong
and in fact attempted to de-escalate the situation. it was all caught on video showing what they did
and what they said. that indian lied his teeth off in the news article and the paper published it knowing
full well that it was a lie.

that is cause for slander and defamation.

they were clearly mocking them , I'm sorry but that doesn't show "innocence". The only thing the new video showed is that both sides were in the wrong in some ways.

Yes, making obnoxious tomahawk chop motions to an elderly Indian is "nothing wrong".
Welcome to Trump Fan Nation, where kids can be rude and disrespectful and on the hairy edge of bigoted, and nothing is wrong.
Congratulations. Trump really did make your brain turn to mush. Well done, son.

I see nothing wrong with kids defending themselves against zealots.
Phillips started the confrontation. he is the aggressor.

the fact that the papers are saying that you are wrong and are apologizing and retracting the story left and right
shows just how on the wrong side of the fence you are and still can't see it.

nothing will happen when they grow up. they will get jobs and will be hired and have healthy lives.
the fact that you want to hold a forever grudge against some kids that stood up to a bunch of fanatics is proof just how
messed up our society is. and the head kid that was in the papers was trying to de-escalate the situation.

Your post won't get through, the Trump hate runs through and through, it's bad.

the funniest thing is trump has nothing to do with this thread or topic. trump lives inside these peoples heads 24/7.
it is kinda disturbing.

Note the full title would not fit in the title box.

Nice to see a lawyer step up to defend the kids. The offer has been made?
Will they accept it? Probably not

Lawyer for Covington Catholic HS Families Threatens Lawsuits Against Media Unless They Retract False Stories

https://pjmedia.com/trending/lawyer-for-covington-catholic-hs-families-threatens-lawsuits-against-media-unless-they-retract-false-stories/

Thanks to the sloppy, one-sided reporting of the malicious, agenda-driven media, a group of Catholic high school teenagers and their families have become the subjects of threats and harassment from a hateful online outrage mob. Their only sins? Being white, Catholic, and supporters of the president.

The full story has emerged in the wake of the fake news blitzkrieg over the weekend, and the media outlets that spread defamatory smears against the kids are now being warned to correct and retract their stories or face a lawsuit. Contrary to the media's malicious narrative, the kids were not racist rednecks mobbing a Native American elder with hateful slurs. It was quite the opposite.

Los Angeles-based trial lawyer Robert Barnes offered to represent the Covington families for free should they decide to sue the New York Times.

I will represent the kids for free if they want to sue @maggieNYT for obvious libel. https://t.co/VmqVqIVNoe

I could tell the statement that was read supposedly coming from the kid came from a lawyer.

they were clearly mocking them , I'm sorry but that doesn't show "innocence". The only thing the new video showed is that both sides were in the wrong in some ways.

The video says otherwise and the retractions coming out all over the place say you are wrong but then again it that isn't out of the ordinary.

You should read the retraction in the papers. You are 100% wrong and you still don't get it.
the Kids did nothing wrong except defend themselves from a bunch of left wing thugs.

yes he has done a number on your brain been TDS'ing and still aren't since you are the only one bringing up trump.
that is the clear signs of TDS when you have to bring trump into every discussion even if he isn't involved.

Stop babbling about TDS. I don't need to know about your derangements.

I've seen the retractions in the paper. They correctly retracted the original claims (which I never saw, and said as much yesterday when I came back here after being away for a few days) that the kids were abusing the elderly man. That again has nothing to do with my posts. I am not 100% wrong that young men should respect their elders. I grew up outside of the trailer park. Where I come from, kids don't act like punks to adults. If you think that's wrong, then that's your choice. You live in the world of crude disrespect, which explains why you follow Trump like a cultist.

Now, scurry along and go make tomahawk chop actions to older Indians. It's fun, I hear.

And I never said it was racist. In fact, I said the opposite. I said it wasn't racist. So I have no idea why you quoted me and mentioned racism.

Making tomahawk chops at elderly Indians isn't any more fun than making slanty eyes at Asians or pretending to be Buckwheat around blacks. At least it didn't used to be. Trump apparently changed all that.

It doesn't matter to me what "many" would consider about my post. People have a tendency on here to assume and even flat out lie about what people said. My post was crystal clear to anyone who read it. I have 3 sons, and I tell them all the time to respect elders and women, and don't get caught doing something on camera that makes them look crude, ignorant or punkish, as it will stay with them forever. That was what I posted about these kids.

Please, if you want to talk about racism, then find someone who said these kids were racist. That wasn't me and I have no interest in discussing what other people said or think.

From your post #8:

Welcome to Trump Fan Nation, where kids can be rude and disrespectful and on the hairy edge of bigoted, and nothing is wrong.

Excuse me for taking assertions of rude, disrespectful and bigoted behavior as being synonymous with racist behavior. I take it that you feel someone 'special' approaching a stationary group, while chanting and beating a drum, is entitled to have the group move out of the 'special' folks' intended path.

It is clear to see that what you actually object to is "Trump Fan Nation" and will purposefully construe any behavior by 'those folks' (even simply standing there) as being rude and disrespectful. You never considered questioning the actions of adults approaching a group of kids while cussing at them or loudly chanting and beating a drum as possibly being rude or disrespectful. Get real.

Bigoted is not the same as racist to me. If you note, I also said "on the hairy edge", which means I also said it was NOT bigoted. On the edge means it is close but not there.

Thank you for confirming what I wrote.

I don't remember the Indian cussing at the kids. Can you please link to that video so I can see him (and presumably hear him) cussing at them?

I have also said, if you would keep your underpants on and read my posts, that the native American man was wrong to approach those kids.

Care to fail more, ttw?

The video says otherwise and the retractions coming out all over the place say you are wrong but then again it that isn't out of the ordinary.

The video shows the boys mocking the native Americans. Nothing you say changes that. Hence they aren’t innocent.

Covington Catholic chaperone: 'Nothing the chaperones could have done differently'

https://www.cincinnati.com/story/news/politics/2019/01/21/cov-cath-chaperone-stands-behind-students-other-chaperones-d-c/2636426002/

Many have asked: Where were the chaperones during the confrontation between Covington Catholic High School students, Native American marchers and Black Hebrew Israelites in Washington, D.C. on Friday?

It turns out there were at least five on the scene, one of the chaperones told The Enquirer on Monday.

That chaperone, Val Andreev, stands by how they handled the situation.

"There was nothing the chaperones could have done differently," said Andreev, a Hebron-resident. "I’m very proud the way the boys handled the situation."

Andreev and his 14-year-old son joined about 20 other chaperones and 240 students from Covington Catholic last week for the March for Life rally.

They made it back home Saturday without realizing they were involved in a national controversy, Andreev said.

Your wasting your time. They were wearing MAGA hats therefore they are guilty of whatever she wants them to be.
it doesn't matter if they did anything or not.

she will also stick to her nitpick fallacies.

Note that I said cussing or chanting and drum beating - the cussing at the group of kids was done by another protest group also present. Racism is a subset of bigotry. Those kids were "on the hairy edge of" (meaning NOT doing?) all manner of things like committing violent assault, making terroristic threats and lobbing hand grenades at grandmothers.

It's been the case for over 2 years.

For those of you who are interested in the actual story, you should watch the video of the black radical adults trying to start a fight with the white high school students. The poor Indian dude didn't seem to know what was actually going on as the black agitators hurled insults at the kids. The kids handled it with more class than the adults in the media.

Start at 3:15 if you don't care to watch the whole thing.

The media use editing tools to turn truth into a lie.

Defending this behavior with the video I posted available to you makes you look really bad. We don't want that, do we?

I never posted about the black Israelites. I posted about the kids and the Indian. The Black Israelites were awful.

Yes, being on the hairy edge means not being there.

I saw that video already. What does it have to do with my comments about the kids?

...that there was no tomahawk chop for one thing.

Laffriot- What better education than the real world? I mean a teacher could explain liberal media bias , virtue signaling and how close minded liberals are all day and not be as effective as what actually happened. Now they sure know

your posting facts again.

all that doesn't matter they are wearing mAGA hats that is all that matters.

With all due respect, MAGA hats are just one factor. The little hooligans are also white, male and Christian. While a MAGA hat is an indicator of hate the other factors I mentioned are actually the PROOF of hate.

There were scores of members here at DP who did the very same thing.
Just waiting for an excuse to hate on someone.
All it takes is to wear a MAGA hat, and the hate pumps 1, 2, 3, and 4 are all on-line pumping out all that hate.

It doesnt matter if they offer a full retraction and an admission that they intentionally sold the idiot leftists a truckload of ****. The idiot leftists heard what they wanted to hear and even after the facts came out, they still gobbled down that **** like it was candy.

White, male, Christian...AND wearing a MAGA hat !!!
Well, that is pure evil incarnate right there.
Just ask.
