Former NY Times editor rips Trump coverage as biased

The msm has become the enemy of the people.....what more of a reason is needed?

Lulz. No, simply stating that that's the case won't somehow, magically, actually make it so. The real enemy of the people are those who claim the press is the enemy of the people.
I am seeing quickly this is the type of board with posters who require someone to lead them around by the nose or else they fall in the ditch.

Sorry, I simply refuse to lead you around by the nose.

The bias is the reason for the investigations. Are you one of those that has to have everything explained?

Many of us here in DP know the bitter-sweet irony of a poster with obvious entrenched thinking trying to defend eye-rolling idiocy.

My response exposed Kurtz as controversial, Fox News as decidedly Right Wing and Abramson as a disgruntled fired former Executive Editor.

Sometimes yes, but sometimes no. Try reporting that post and see what happens.

Oh, I believe in freedom of speech...just wondering how strict they are on it here.

Is this one of those boards where they ban conservatives for using some colorful terms but let the dimwitted leftwingers say whatever they want?

Still wanting me to explain every little thing to you...I do not have the time for that...get edumacated and then come back.

What is there to explain? You want the MSM investigated for "bias" by congress, yet bias is not unlawful. Furthermore, congress would not really have oversight powers over the media unless there was some federal laws being violated, which there does not appear to be.

Total thread fail.

You are boring me.

Did anyone say congress should launch a criminal investigation? The need is for congress to expose the reality of fake news and a biased media....of course many have woken up to that....but far too many are still deluded and continue to watch cnn

Perhaps you need a refresher into congressional oversight powers?

https://history.house.gov/Institution/Origins-Development/Investigations-Oversight/

Bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa sounds like you did not read your link or you lack the cognitive ability to understand what it says. i.e.

The Constitution says nothing about congressional investigations and oversight, but the authority to conduct investigations is implied since Congress possesses “all legislative powers.” The Supreme Court determined that the framers intended for Congress to seek out information when crafting or reviewing legislation.

I totally understand why you need to run, hair on fire, from your original claims.

Try and post something, anything that shows you are not the simpleton you seem to be.

I am waiting with bated breath. Not

Yes, I read that, several times. I am not arguing the constitutional grounds of their oversight powers. I am arguing that there would be no reason for congress to get involved with any investigations into the media unless potential federal laws are being violated.

Can you tell us why then congress would need to investigate the media?

Because it goes against the God Emperor of the United States. Duh! /s
