David Duke isn't a NYT correspondent, is he? His views of white supremacy and preserving his people's culture makes him a marked man in the public sphere, while Dana Goldstein is a 'mainstream' journalist whose resume reads like a who's-who list of liberal media companies.

When's the last time an Irish, Italian, Polish, or German American
said they model their appearance in order to appear to be white, when they really consider themselves to be something else? You'd be hard pressed to find any such statement.

No one with half a brain would believe that you think I'm being racist against white people, so you must be referring to some other race that Dana Goldstein belongs to in your mind.

No we all know you have something against Jews. Its evident in every post. I'm as white as can be physically but because I'm Jewish or of Jewish ancestry I am considered something else. Fortunately to most people around where I live I'm considered American. She does look pretty white, or at least very light beige. Don't worry, there will be plenty of more posts by those of Jewish ancestry which you can practice your bigotry and conspiracy theories.

If you want to be American you can be American. The Irish, Italians, Polish and Germans you mentioned all assimilated, and largely consider themselves American first. Others, who refer to themselves as a 'tribe', haven't. Up to you really. No one else gets to decide.

I'm not a shoah scholar, but from what I've heard, no concrete information existed about Germany's plans for ethnic cleansing. In fact, for years after WW2 ended, the world still didn't know the magnitude of the holocaust. It isn't mentioned once in Winston Churchill's 8 volume tome chronicling WW2, for example. Even by the late 1950's- over 10 years after the horrendous atrocities ended- the author of the best selling book Exodus, which was a dramatized account of the Jewish hardships experienced during the war, and the subsequent formation of Israel, put the number of Jews killed by Hitler at 250,000.

Why do you think it took several decades for researchers to arrive at the death toll of 6 million? Because Nazi Germany obscured the extent of what went on, destroyed documents pertaining to these events, etc.
