Ivanka claims there is no equivalency to HRC's email but that's her opinion and nobody will really know that until an investigation of the contents has been completed. The most glaring thing is that it happened at all considering all the hullabaloo for more than two years over, as Roberts said, her father hammered Hillary Clinton about it. Ivanka Trump should most certainly have known NOT to do the same thing as HRC had done. As a matter of fact what she did is even worse since HRC had a private server at least which offers additional protections to content as one that doesn't have a separate server.

I listened to the video, Roberts did not ask the same question twice.

Question #1: How did you wind up in a similar situation?

Question #2: But your father hammered Hillary Clinton on this, said that it was criminal, that she should be locked up. How is wrong for her, but not for you?

I couldn't believe my ears... It reminded me of that ridiculous interview of Jordan Peterson done by Cathy Newman of the BBC.

Well then with a few adjustments, I see a future for her at FOX. That kind of thing and worse is their bread & butter. And BTW, white house protocols are not law. the Public records act...is.

Hillary had classified documents on her server. Hillary setup her private email server for the explicit purpose and intent of avoiding proper government oversight.

Ivanka did the same thing? That'd be a FALSE.

If that's you level of understanding of these things, then you probably shouldn't comment such things.

I found it objectionable that she did not understand :roll:(lol) the issue of not using private email after her daddy used it as his major campaign issue. So now she would like to bring up a point or two of differentiation, somehow absolving her of being a huge hypocrite at best. Hillary used her private server exclusively, while Ivanka seemed to pick and choose which emails would be sent by which method, and the private server was not just for scheduling ballet lessons, as she would like you to believe.

Ivanka screwed up big time, and if she needs to face a journalist that would like her to be more forthcoming, well that just comes with the job.

What I find sad is that some important threads on here don't get any attention but two right wing posters can make a big fuss about a reporter asking two questions and that gets nearly 60 posts...

You fail to realize the concept of free speech and the freedom of the press. Roberts knows Ivanka was lying just like I do, and you are apparently happy with whatever cockamamie story she comes up with. Even if in the same interview ABC has to show her what her father said hours earlier.

Ivanka didn't present any facts either. You are trusting her based on twisted ideology and blind loyalty. NOTHING MORE. I have already established a pattern where Ivanka lies and nobody has given me a reason to trust her. Not even past history from both Democrats and Republicans who have done the SAME thing.

The bottom line is, what she did was perfectly acceptable practice and in no way compares to what Hillary did... which not only violated government policy, but violated the law.

Well, that's not quite true.

I recall all the left's excitement when Colin Powell occasionally used a non .gov email for government business. From what I recall he did provide the emails to the appropriate government archivists.

This, as well as Ivanka's apparent email use, differs significantly from what Hillary did, a fact that you still don't acknowledge, so pardon me if I'm not taking you all that seriously on this. From my view, it's just yet another TDS gone wild meme, with little real world consequence (as usual).

Ivanka hasn't produced any evidence backing up her new claims. Until she does I am allowed to be skeptical. Will you hold her accountable for that evidence or just blindly trust a known liar again?
