He is still an insufferable boor, she is still the socialite daughter of a true statesman so nothing has changed. If they are happy together then I wish them well.

They didn't do a great job of keeping it private at all.
It was cute and funny but I still get tired of Joe talking over everyone else, including Mika.
But Mika's father went through something of an evolution with regard to Joe.

Here's the morning in December 2008 when "Zbig" stomped a mudhole in Joe's ass:



He went from his "stunningly superficial" remark to "My name is Zbigniew Brzezinski, but you can call me Zbig," which he made one morning in 2015. I can't find THAT clip but I'll never forget it, having seen it live.

I haven't got the slightest clue why you posted this. I said, and I quote, "I'm also very surprised how you can watch their show and not realize how in love they are. These two did a great job over the years of keeping it in private." In other words, they didn't fawn all over each other on the set of their show (which I specifically referenced) and make it so that people watched their drooling love for each other.

Your clip of Mika's father in no way contradicts or addresses what I said. If you have something that shows them clearly being in love on the set, post it.

Joe also spent months and months and months promoting Jeb Bush for President in 2016. But facts like that are pesky, very pesky.

Pfffffttttt, I wasn't even debating your statement, it's just I read your post and the other posts and it put me in mind of this clip, and then I wanted to find the "You may call me Zbig" clip and it is impossible to find.

I see the two clips as bookends, the "stunningly superficial" clip being when Zbig first became really aware of Scarborough, and the "You may call me Zbig" clip being almost his "blessing".

Aside from that, I wasn't attempting to play as if I had a beef with your point at all.
I was just sharing ;)

And I'm waiting for you to show me where they were displaying their love for each other on the set of their show, which is precisely what I said they did not do but you disagreed with.

I remember that doddering old fool. He was on their show once in a while and he sounded like Count Dracula all the time. She wouldn't even have her job if not for the fact that her father was Clinton's NSA. I'm no fan of Mika's. I do like Joe a lot, and always did. Especially when he was in Congress.

If you can find clips of them looking all lovey dovey at each other on the set, or holding hands under the desk, or playing footsie with each other, then post them. I watch them every day, and never saw them do it. If I didn't know they were engaged, I wouldn't have the slightest clue they were engaged. That was to their credit. No PDA.

You're still not getting it, I didn't disagree or agree, I just started thinking of Joe's interactions with Zbig.
Or let me put it another way, I had a gut feeling just by watching the way Zbig was interacting with the two of them.
So to ME, and maybe me only, it didn't seem secret.

And you would be wrong. Trump, oddly enough, is the most conservative president since Reagan--a man Joe idolizes. Or at least used to. No, Joe has moved left. Way left.
