If you Google Trump... the links all come up from liberal sties on first page even though fox is

notice all the links offered are from left leaning news sites?
even though fox is the biggest cable place on television they sure as hell don't come up as one of the top links to hit .. What u guys think?

I mean google is manipulating the searches .. i been researching this for years now.
If they had a fair way of doing searches they would not hide from the public how their searches work.

Here is what i got today when i just did a Trump search.
Fox news was not even one of the links in this page and all the links gave negative stories about Trump. Fox should be at the top since its the most watched and prob most searched for news site but its not even any of the top links.. Most people never search past the first page btw so.

I get his Twitter then articles by The Guardian, CNBC, and BBC. Though I think that may be because I am googling internationally.

Cable success =/= online success.

I think capitalization and punctuation is important.

I think this is how Google's search algorithm works.

PageRank works by counting the number and quality of links to a page to determine a rough estimate of how important the website is. The underlying assumption is that more important websites are likely to receive more links from other websites.

I think there is no such thing as "biggest cable place on net" since "cable" refers to television in that context, not the web.

What makes you think the viewership of a cable TV channel should or would influence the search ranking for it’s website? I’d also question whether Fox News would be most searched for directly though I’m not sure any specific news sites would be searched for directly very often compared to specific topics anyway.

It seems one out of two Trumpet threads start like this conspiracy nonsense.

I was fascinated with conspiracy theories when I was young. JFK, the Great Pyramid, Illuminati...

By the time I was 30 I realized just how self serving they were while being void of content.

What I have not figured is why so many on the right have not come to this realization. (In fact I do know why)

So go to the right wing site of your choice and search for master, oops I mean trump, I am sure you will only get the news you want to hear. If Goggle is so biased in your opinion then maybe you should stop using them, best way to avoid seeing the truth is to not see or hear it and do your best to avoid any contact with it. Which begs the question, why are you here, you're not doing your part by exposing yourself to truth on a political discussion site that allows all points of view. Not to worry there are plenty of ubber-right wing sites out there, just don't use Goggle to find them.

Thats not how google works. While they may well be manipulating things, they use a reputation system whereby sites are ranked according to how often they are clicked, who links to them, and how a site is designed. They also will bring YOU sites that you frequent more often than others. And their search method is their entire business. Why would they give up its secrets?

Actually I get verity including Fox News and other right leaning sites when I google the news.

Net neutrality has nothing to do with Google's bias against Trump. Net neutrality would just maintain the same 'crappy' speed and cost of Internet access to all users of Google.

Why? Because the OP is looking for a certain bias? This thread is about the bias of Google against Trump not the bias of some outlets of the news media against Trump.
Side note: It appears Google and a majority of news media are biased against Trump. Would you consider that meddling in upcoming elections?
