Trump has never faced Bias like this

Obama never lied. He may have been unable to uphold some pledges. That is vastly different than the Trump daily lies. I started a poll on this forum. It was very simple - "Does Trump Lie?" Over 95% said yes. Go ahead and start a poll about Obama. Let's see how that works out.

I'm quite sure that if I started a poll asking if Obama ever lied while in office the answer would be 100% yes. Saying Obama "never lied' shows a complete disconnect from reality.

Worse than Bush II who gave us two never-ending wars and a financial meltdown. Really, based on facts or emotion.

The current Republican president makes W Bush look like a member of MENSA. At least he could form a complete English sentence. However, I agree with you. His endless wars and economic crash make him one of the most destructive presidents of the modern era.

I seriously doubt that. But go for it. As I mentioned, unfulfilled political aspirations are not lies. He wasn't in the business of lying.

I would have to agree that Bush II was probably the worst. His was definitely the worst handoff since the Great Depression. That said, the way Trump's (and the Republican controlled House and Senate) deficit is skyrocketing, he may eclipse Bush II.

Who cares. He sucked as CiC.

He's still out there lying his ass off.

He didn't suck that much if he was elected twice by a landslide.

He used government resources against his political opponents, he's worse than Nixon.

Are you not aware that Nixon used the government against political opponents, essentially in every way he could? They had long meetings about new ways to screw people using the government. They devised plans to have CIA agents take american citizens who were protesting the Nixon administration to Mexico and hide them, claiming they had been kidnapped by drug cartels. Because it would get rid of the problem, and Nixon would be able to run on fighting those dirty mexican cartels. He had his people drug and hold a lady against her will so she wouldn't talk to the press. (yes, that's true. 100% true. Look it up) He's on tape saying that he would not put someone in charge of the IRS unless they will hand him all the info on anyone he asks on demand and investigate as he tells them.

You really should study up on Nixon if you think the worse thing he ever did was try to cover up a small burglary that he never knew about.

I do not wish to watch the video because I am assuming that it purports to show that President Obama was mistreated in various ways.

In my opinion, President Obama was treated with great respect by those people who count, viz., academia and the media. Those two sections of American life treated him with great respect and awe.

A few outlier Republicans broached the topic of impeachment, but the Republican establishment immediately quashed any such talk, for any attempt to impeach President Obama would have resulted in civil unrest the likes of which this country has never seen.

Overall, then, President Obama was treated with either indifference or great fawning. Everyone agreed on one thing: His election was a historic event in the history of this country. That alone will always earn him at least a few sentences in future history books.

Fine, Obama was the same as Nixon.

No need to get upset. I'm merely suggesting on educating yourself about the recent history of the US presidency before trying to make claims that you can't back up. If Obama used the IRS to try to stall conservative groups then that's really bad. Fully agree if that's the case. But still not as bad as everything that happened under Nixon. Not even close.

I remember the history of Barry.

Obamas legacy is secured with the ACA. The cherry on top is the Right failed BIG time to repeal, a treasured moment. When the Dems take the the House next month, the Righties will see that wet dream go bye bye.

Not even close - FAUX News invented the game.

That sounds like praise compared to what Trump hears day in and day out. Waaa, friggin' waaa. Grow a pair.

Does anyone notice that the huge majority of those criticisms focus on Obama's POLICIES and IDEOLOGIES and not the size of his hands, his hair style, HIS SKIN COLOR, or what unnatural acts he performs on Putin? I got to laughing so hard I didn't finish the clip but did any criticize Michelle for what she wore when touring disaster areas? Sorry, guys, you got nothing to cry or complain about.

What about the 30 million uninsured the "plan" didn't include? That part of his legacy?

I think this depends. Historically speaking, distance does matter. But when faced with an Andrew Johnson, a Nixon, a Carter, and now a Trump, the contemporary issues can present quite clearly.

So what do you hate more? The booming economy or the lowest unemployment in decades for everyone?

I was kind of liking having two good jobs there..

How do you get upset from that? More resigned to not want to argue on an issue you are clearly being biased about. The deeper into the Trump investigation we get the more damning evidence we find that people acted improperly in all sorts of ways. That is the way in which I find common criteria for corruption with Nixon, by the way, not just the IRS issues.

What do I hate more? It's hard to pick.
1. Skyrocketing the deficit, by giving tax breaks that primarily helped 1%ers., who reaped 83% of the benefits.
2. Payment of HUSH Money to a porn star and a tabloid, using campaign funds, and then lying about it.
3. Constant tweeting of divisive language.
4. The inability to work with his own Party in the House and Senate - with Trump, it's hard to discern why the US even
has a House and Senate.
5. The constant firing of those that are in positions of authority. Really - does this help our country?
6. The constant blame game - Obama, Democrats, blah, blah, blah.

Yes, Solyndra was a failure. Cost the taxpayers $535 Million. This versus the Bush/Cheney Iraqi War, which cost the taxpayers over a Trillion $. Quite a few more ZEROES behind that figure. And by the way, much of that trillion was passed onto Obama, along with a banking/housing crisis, a bankrupt US auto industry, CEO corruption gone amuck, a deflated stock market, etc, etc. Once Obama fixed all that mess, he started bringing the Bush/Cheney deficit down nicely.

Oh, wow! Look at that graphic. And now Chump is skyrocketing the deficit again. Partisan lies do nothing for your credibility.

A better comparison, since most people can not grasp a trillion, is that the Iraq/Afghan war effort cost the US taxpayer $1B per week. Solyndra = 3 days of war.

For those that can not grasp 1 Trillion....

You live one million seconds every 11 days
You live one billion seconds every 33 years
You live one trillion seconds every 33,000 years.

GW Bush executed the worst hand off since the Great Depression. He had 8 years to figure things out. It was truly horrible. Now Trump is continuing with the similar policies, such as skyrocketing the deficit. Your boys have all 3 Legislative branches, and they can't even execute a balanced budget, much less reduce the deficit. But keep blaming Obama.

Now it comes out.... It was President Bushes fault. Now we understand.

Blame McCain for that failure. Obama has no legacy left.... He is back to community organizing again.

Like most former Presidents he is writing a book and on the speaking tour. I have no idea were the community organizer comment comes from, bitterness or just more Obama Derangement Syndrome ?

The ACA is going no were. Get over it. Russian bot, nyet ?

You obviously didn't watch the video. None of the FAUX News attacks had anything to do with POLICIES. They were all personal attacks. Here's another...

FoxEffect_Castro_Inset_Redux.jpg

This would be the equivalent of showing Trump side-by-side, with Hitler. Can you find such an example from mainstream media? Have they ever attacked Trump's father? That was another constant theme against Obama. And it was totally irrelevant, as Obama only met his father once. Fox is pathetic.
