"The expectation that Rosenstein will leave the administration came after The New York Times reported he secretly discussed recording President Donald Trump and invoking the 25th Amendment to remove the President from office."

CNN turns this into "He expected to be fired". Where did Rosenstein say he expected to be fired? Facts please, CNN - not "expectations" that you all want us to think.

I don't really understand your beef with the headline. You don't necessarily need an attributable quote from someone directly to report on their state of mind or intentions, you could have sources among the people surrounding that individual, for example.

I would expect him to expect to be fired, that's for sure. Trump has wanted to for a while. Now, he provides an excuse to do so without it automatically raising obstruction flags.

I can usually tell what the creator of a thread in "Bias" thinks they are making noise about, but what's the claim supposed to be here? Doodyface liberals at CNN were mean to Trump in a biased way because they said Rosenstein expected to be fired?

Nameless gossip - the way to learn the truth now.

Facts?

Who the hell needs facts when they can stir up **** by making **** up?

Looks to me like this meeting was called specifically to fuel speculation regarding Rosenstein's future and get Kavanaugh out of the headlines.

Well that is Trumps MO.

When he creates a fire, he then creates an even bigger one to distract from the original one.

Then his brainwashed cult like supporters scream 'CNN!!! fake news'..

It's as sure as the sun rising in the east tomorrow morning.

"GEEEEE!!! will he or won't he??

This country's gonna get to fightin pretty soon.

Even though it may end in political suicide for 45 and the GOP, all of them going up in flames

Certainly Rosenstein has plenty of friends in the media. He can waltz into CNN HQ and have a bourbon with the brass and discuss “Where do we go from here? Do you think I should stick around?”

It sounds like an extemporaneous conversation with CNN.

PS I’m not so sure the 25th amendment and wire rants were not ex-temps either, but the problem is his position. He’s top dog in the FBI of the anti Trump forces. He really stepped on his dick this time.

Trump source gossip for the masses to keep the focus on Trump.

It's Trump's personality disorder that demands that he be the groom at every wedding, the baby at every christening and the corpse at every funeral, he has to insert himself into the spotlight in any situation, no matter what it is. He can't just get out of the way and stay out of trouble, he insists on becoming part of the problem not part of the solution to any situation.

I don't see why you would think that.

As long as such a massive portion of the American population continues to support him, nothing is going up in flames, except the country while they cheer.

And any actions such as he's taken in healthcare or trade that might burn his supporters, well that can simply be blamed in liberals, gays, muslims, the poor and illegal immigrants.

The guy's just plain mental, there's no doubt about that. At the very least - we can all see what The Conservatives are really all about!

It ain't America.

Oh please, that's really rich considering Hannity and Carlson tell Trump what to do next.
