reporters are saying they were tricked by WH. Axios and NYT have not yet retracted stories about Rosenstein. Reuters reports he's staying. Will meet with President on Thursday.... It's a ****storm. From people who believe the media don't fact check anonymous sources. They got a couple, but the rest are fact checking in real time.

What makes you think Trump has anything to do with this media **** storm? Axios has never done anything for Trump or the WH. Everything they do is designed to be against Trump.

This isn't their first bogus story. Won't be their last.

Who has gone out of his way to attack his own people? How often has he undermined the job of his own people?

The fact people would believe the report says all there needs to be said about Trump's relationship with Sessions....except that Trump is one very sick puppy

People believe what they want to believe. The media has trained people to want to believe the worst about Trump...even to the point they'll believe stuff that has no basis in fact.

This story...and everyone's reaction...is just another example.

While Trump is far from great, exactly who ran with the story that *GASP* Trump had two desserts? It was the epitomy of ridiculous, but hey, it made him look bad and fed right into the picture some wanted to paint.

I'm in favor of almost anything disparaging the President. But, at least he hasn't had the audacity to wear a tan suit. I'd expect nothing less than wall to wall coverage slamming him for poor fashion choices.

I've been following politics for a long time. I know both sides play politics. It's their job. The Democrats are just worse at playing politics than the GOP, imo. They really suck at it. But, I also think they are paid to lose.

As for Trump vs. the media. I look at it case by case. But, when the media gets something wrong they apologize and run a correction. When Trump gets something wrong, he doubles down, and says everyone else is wrong.

He's exposed them both as artisan hacks who will propagate a sleazy smear job as long as it's directed at a Republican.
