When FOX News turns on Trump............

But this is yet another Trump deceit in which he takes undue credit for. The uptick is very temporary and cannot mask inevitable long-term decline.

I'm sure you are aware that North America has been experiencing an energy boom for years now. Fracking, natural gas, oil exports, LTO, etc. Coal will have its place in energy diversification, but coal mining country needs to start realizing that Trump cannot turn back the clock. Trump exploited the situation on the campaign trail when he declared that he would correct "Obama's war" on coal country.

Your link is for last year. Naturally Trump policies would have little, if any effect as that was his first year. What about this year?

All that I did was google it. I don't even know those personalities as I don't watch Fox. And, like I said, there are more times than just those few that Fox has criticized Trump.

Sure there are. Of course, I agree. As a media outlet FOX News can't simply avoid the existence of what the world is criticizing from issue to issue.

But the routine is to briefly acknowledge that issue's existence; and then either play devil's advocate in such a way that it leads its viewers to defend the issue, or bounce into a new defensive narrative so that they don't have to actually address the issue at all. Back to the Helsinki Summit example, and with Hannity as an accurate and suitable representation of the network, the story was not supposed to be about Trump siding with Putin, but Trump's questioning about Hillary and servers. As "fake news" focused in on his verbal defense of Putin, FOX News viewers got the "real" story from the so-called "deep state" narrative.

Last year, this year, and the years to come depends on the export market of coal and foreign demand. From what I have read, despite mine closings, U.S. coal mining productivity has increased. And the Mining Health and Safety Administration declared that in 2017, Trump's first year, U.S. coal mining jobs grew by 771 to 54,819.

This appears to be a story about shifting. Some states got jobs, but most states stumbled. Texas, for example, lost 455 jobs. And Ohio had 414 jobs lost. This is because despite the productivity, it has had little impact on domestic demand for coal. Companies are still shutting down hundreds of coal-fired power plants and still shifting to cheaper natural gas. Why wouldn't they? Those states that got some jobs also contain companies that haven't yet made the shift to natural gas, and are also seeking to carve out their share of the export game. So, workers who want to remain in coal need to consider what their state is doing.

But there is the potential for rising countries, like India and China, which are pressuring oil producers to increase supply. Because of the need for energy, these countries will have to diversify their energy sources. This means that American coal has a future. But it still comes down to coal being in long-term decline. Up ticks in the coal industry are still having to face the reality that energy sources have greatly widened the field. And Trump can only do so much here.

..................you know the end of his presidency is near.

Really? The end of his presidency? Really? This is about the hundredth time we hear that Trump is finished.
It's hilarious! Poor people who have to grab such nonsense and feed their silly notion that the president is finished.

There is nothing positive to say about the administration. It's a full-on kleptocracy.

The only cabinet head I can say a decent word about is Mattis, and he's in charge of the department that kills people for a living. Fox is not balance, it's Pravda. The Trump administration is rotten from bow to stern. The reason CNN and other outlets don't report positive stories about the Trump administration is because those stories don't exist. The economic numbers are piggybacking off of a rebounding economy; ISIS was on its way out before Orange Julius took office; he basically presidents for four hours a day. This is a mess.

Oh, that was just clever.

As far as Murdoch’s Sons are concerned ; yes, you are correct; with respect ✊ to this new and next version of Fox;

Especially with the ‘new legacy’ of the Koch Brothers.

Shep Smith is a regular panty waist lib light, always has been. But now he has let his hate of Trump ferment way too long... to the point of just unhinged, rabidly senseless hatred.

The syndrome with which he is afflicted is an actual visible, verifiable phenomenon. Until you let it go it just eats away at brain wattage, all power conducted to a single seething loathsome point of focused detestation that reflects poorly from these dimly lit lighthouses ...warning incessantly of impending perils and doom that are solely made up, phantasmagorical.

Hell, we survived slenderman trying to wreck our culture, our proud heritage and our political systems for 8 years...we can certainly survive 8 years of restoration.
