Ingraham needs to work on her grammar if she wants to play in the big leagues.She should have used the word 'knew'..not 'know' while dispensing her racist rhetoric.

She was absolutely correct addressing this problem. For 350 years after Jamestown the immigration laws of this country were written with one
goal, to preserve the European character of this country. Those ranting 'This is not who we are" today forget that is what we were when
America overtook Britain around 1920 as the greatest economic & military power. Ever since the late 1970's the fortunes of this country have tended
downward.

She was condemning immigrants, legal and illegal. She is worried and scared about the country changing in color, or, as she said, demographs.

She then went on to play video clips of nothing but people of color committing crimes, as if white people never commit crimes.

What she is doing is obvious. Why she is scared, is obvious. What is there to discuss???? Her own show just reveals her prejudice, not her "valid points."

That photo and tweet says everybody about her. It reminds me of a conversation I had with a older women. She told me that she didn't experience going to school with black kids or experience being around them, and admitted she probably talk about black people in negative stereotypes because that's all she knew about them.




What???!!! This is the new American school system!

This country IS a nation of immigrants...always has been. Legal immigration has been in place since the nation was formed. Nobody seems to complain much about the Jewish, Italian, or Irish immigrants anymore, but Americans have put Jewish holidays on their calendars, celebrate St Patrick's Day, and hold annual Italian Festivals, etc. The Jewish people are still Jewish, building synagogues, and wearing kippahs.

What are current immigrants doing that bothers you so much more? Nobody can change their skin color. You can't blame a person for having an accent. If they are trying to learn English, at least, recognize that and encourage them. And the Second Amendment gives us all freedom of religion, and we are free to wear hijabs as much as the Jewish, the Amish, and other religious groups are free to wear their religious clothing.

What exactly is this immigrant wave doing that is so much more offensive than all others of the past?

Exactly.
So many rural towns are all up in arms about immigrants that they only see on the news. Towns with 2K population of 99.9% whites.
My parents, living in a tiny white flight city, all of a sudden just as beck/hannity types become popular, feel immigration is a huge issue.

It's so obvious it hurts.

Question: why do regressives attempt to call rabid right baiting a discussion? I'd opine Ms Ingraham is just a Beck wannabee who has all but dropped off the national stage and is trying to claw her way back in... destroy??? naww she is doing that all by her warped self...

Now about the 'validity' of her points- repeatedly through out our history we have made a sham of our shining city on the hill. With every wave of non northern European immigrants (and the Irish) 'real' Americans have lamented the demise of America and claimed the 'America we know doesn't exist anymore'

Irish, Germans, Slavs, Italians, Chinese, all have been barred or severely limited the immigration of select groups.

These days as the 'nativists' forget that embarrassing bit of history as they attempt to rally the children of those that were once in the newest immigrants shoes to 'keep America American'

As far as the health goes, I see the regressives as an old cancer we are better off rid of. Trying to go back to a time that people like the Duck Commanders idiot thinks was so great and minorities were happy being poor with no silly notions of equality in their heads... :peace

Becoming a part of and adopting the cultures and traditions of the country you are joining. Being a part of the community...not apart from the community.

Here's the problem and its precisely what Ingraham was stating. When you have entire communities, and you have already mentioned several, that maintain the identity of the country the came FROM and dont become a part of the country they are IN, and when those communities start to multiply, you begin to lose YOUR country and your countries identity.

I am all for legal immigration. Always have been...nothing has changed. But people should come here and embrace THIS country. OR...come here...legally...be a guest worker...follow the rules...and then go home.

It is a Glorious thing that the America of Ingraham has finally died a necessary death.

With 88 days left until election night results, I see a confident look on people of conscience to change the direction of this Nation for the better, and forever.

As we checked Mom out of Assisted Living today for Red Lobster and shopping (assisted living is a Godsend; we got a 3-month old kitten girl today) Every Person I saw today, no matter the color whatever, presented themselves well.

Be not afraid of the attackers of minorities, such as in sports. They have already received their reward. People are changing for the better. You will see this.

Yes, I do agree. I am opposed to illegal immigration. Not immigration, ILLEGAL immigration. This is a crime. And I do want our southern border to be more secure (although I don't think a wall will be effective). I live in a border state and know the consequences of "catch and release."

Vance, are you telling us that you refuse to eat pizza or Chinese food or sushi or Mexican food or okra or bagels or curry or pretzels or pirogues, or bratwurst or barbecued pork or beef or baklava or scones, or shawarma or hummus ... Should I continue? You'll notice that I did not include any Irish food in my brief list of examples because this American grew up eating a lot that and until the last couple of decades Irish food was rather wholesome but bland, in my opinion. These days Irish food in Ireland is excellent. Remarkably good. No matter, Irish food isn't American food, so you've never eaten it unless of course you were in Ireland.

Are you telling us that you refuse to listen to anything other than Appalachian folk music played only on instruments that were designed like the originals?

Are you and maybe five other people still refusing to use the term "French fries" because our culture isn't French? Do you do the same when you talk or write? No words that aren't part of American culture? That's gotta be f-ing difficult.

What by the way, is an American accent? I have to say that when I have been in Maine I've very much enjoyed it but I have no idea what anyone is talking about. They are Americans but I can't understand them. Have you ever noticed that people who are born and raised in New Orleans sound just like people who are born and raised in Brooklyn? I don't know if they can understand each other, but it would be interesting to watch.

You can still find areas, sadly dwindling to extinction, along the coast of Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina where the accent is so strong they are extremely difficult to understand. Their accent is linguistically as pure as can be found to that of the coastal region of American colonies. In a small area of South Carolina there are African-Americans whose accent is a blend of African and colonial English and a colonial Irish/English patois. That unique African accent/language is called Gullah or Gee Chee.

Of course there is the whole Native American thing. I know my Native American friends would laugh at your entire premise, mine too.

But what then exactly is "American" culture?
