(Alexei Meshkov from Interfax Information Agency): Good afternoon. I have a question to President trump. During your recent European tour, you mentioned that the implementation of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline makes Europe [a] hostage of Russia. You suggested that you could free Europe from this by supplying American LNG (liquefied natural gas). This cold winter showed the current model, current mechanism of supply of fuel to Europe is quite viable. At the same time, as far as I know, the US had to buy Russian gas for Boston.
I have a question. The implementation of your idea has political tinge to it or is this practical one? Because there will be a gap formed in the supply and demand mechanism and first it’s the consuming countries who will fall into this gap.
The second question, before the meeting with President Putin, you called him an adversary, a rival. And yet you expressed hope [that] you will be able to bring this relationship to a new level. Did you manage to do this?
(Jeff Mason from Reuters): Thank you. Mr. President, you tweeted this morning that it’s US Foolishness, stupidity and the Mueller probe that is responsible for the decline in US Relations with Russia. Do you hold Russia at all accountable for anything in particular? If so, what would you consider them that they are responsible for?
(Jeff Mason from Reuters): For President Putin if I could follow up as well. Why should Americans and why should President Trump believe your statement that Russia did not intervene in the 2016 election given the evidence that US Intelligence agencies have provided? Will you consider extraditing the 12 Russian officials that were indicted last week by a US Grand jury
(Jeff Mason from Reuters): Did you direct any of your officials to help him do that?
(Ilya Petrenko from RT International): Mr. President, would you please go into the details of possibly any specific arrangements for the US to work together with Russia in Syria — if any of these arrangements were made today or discussed?
My question to President Putin in Russian. Since we brought up the issue of football, several times, I I use the football language. Mr. Pompeo mentioned that when we talk about Syrian cooperation, the ball is in the Syrian court. Mr. Putin, in Russian court, is it true? How would you use this fact of having the ball?
(Ilya Petrenko from RT International): For now, no specific agreements, for instance, between the militaries?
(Jonathan Lemire from AP): Thank you. A question for each president. President Trump, you first. Just now President Putin denied having anything to do with the election interference in 2016. Every US intelligence agency has concluded that Russia did.
My first question for you, sir, is who do you believe? My second question is would you now with the whole world watching tell President Putin — would you denounce what happened in 2016 and would you warn him to never do it again?
(Jonathan Lemire from AP): A question for President Putin, thank you. Two questions for you, sir. Can you tell me what President Trump may have indicated to you about officially recognizing Crimea as part of Russia? And secondly, sir, do you -- does the Russian government have any compromising material on President Trump or his family?

Such great reporting by AP and Rueters. Don't you think?

What I find ironic is that they actually think they'll get honest answers to those questions. The media loves to portray Trump as a serial liar and yet still asks questions while believing that by doing so they'll get the answers they're looking for.

Can you believe the gall of these reporters asking questions to try to get the truth? Who the **** do they think they are? The free press?

So they should instead just recognize he's a compulsive liar and ask no questions, right? They ask difficult questions because that's their job. The questions aren't just for Donald, it's far more important that the American people hear these questions asked and see his reactions and avoidance of giving straight and concise answers.

Without the voices of the press, the only voice Americans would hear is Donald's.

 Hyperbolic much? No where did I say or suggest that they shouldn't ask their questions. But if they want the truth then they're going to have to do something other than be direct in their questioning. Try thinking instead of just reacting.

I expected more substance on the meeting and what It means moving forward for our two countries and what things did we find common ground on to work together on and what did we disagree on so we may hope for more common ground or tension in the future. Of course Rueters and AP didn't ask the hard questions. All they cared about was did the Russian meddle in the 2016 elections and is there a pee pee tape. Stuff that you would expect from a slut magazine not from a reputable news organization.

Unfortunately we won't know what was really discussed since it was a closed meeting. The press conference that followed was a photo op and didn't reveal anything.

I can't remember who said it, but the gist is "if you can get them to ask stupid questions, the answers you give don't matter"

The questions I saw asked were IMO questions that effectively support the media narrative, that the Russians stole our election, that what they did in Crimea was illegal, etc etc.

Kal, what can they do to get the truth, other than ask? If they speculate, they are immediately called "Fake News".

Shouldn't the bigger question be why you can't expect an honest answer from your president when asking a direct question?

This is the attitude that makes it impossible to believe the press. The personal attitudes of people are formed by media reporting, unless someone here is in the DC inner circle and actually has first or second party facts. Assuming there are none of those people here, your hatred is being fueled by your consumption of third party reporting from reporters and editors who hate Trump's guts.

So I understand the irrational and often pathological hatred of Trump because like people in closed societies, your emotions are based on interpretations channeled into your lazy minds by the corrupt media.

Face the facts: You won't be happy until someone kills him or he finishes his presidency.

And how do you know the answer is not true? Do you spend hours pouring through data to get an answer? Nope. You take someone's word for it.

Well at least you got something right. You may see no value to a free press in a democracy, but most Americans understand it's critical.

Have you ever sat back and wondered where the information came from that caused you to form the opinions you have?

Sure, have you ever considered that it's unwise to believe everything Trump says without questioning it?

I have the time to a lot of research, which I do. Kind of like a hobby.

Putin played Bush and Obama too. Remember Carter? To paraphrase "I thought we had a deal and those bastards lied". You don't think Trump knows that? Trump plays both roles as "Good cop, bad cop" in every negotiation. He knows Putin is a thug, KGB, and a killer. And Trump knows that things can ether get better or worse.

Trump's problem is he wants to move big things fast, and we are a country that deliberates until the problem either turns into an emergency or solves itself. Other than press hysteria piling on to itself, and the Trump haters hating harder, nothing has changed.

And nothing will change. Germany will keep buying Russian natural gas pouring billions into Russia's economy. NATO members will cut back payments the day Trump is gone. And Russia will not actually invade Poland just to show NATO how ineffective it is when faced with a true escalation into a ground war NATO can't win because they are weak and unmotivated to preserve their own freedom. Nothing is going to happen here, either.

America's leadership is best used to prevent the advance of China's economic juggernaut ignoring western values in relationships between trading partners.

No, you're completely wrong. The "free" press, for years and years got a "free" pass on accountability; those days are over, Trump exposed them, even though a lot of us already knew it. Trump plays them like a fiddle, he knows full-well that the MSM is really just an extension of the progressive left and the democrats, and like all experienced negotiators, he keeps his cards close to his chest.. He's playing chess, and they're playing tic-tac-toe..

Tim-

Tim-

I'd maybe take you seriously if you held Trump to 1/100th the honesty standard you do the press. To you it's OK when he repeatedly, daily lies to the American people and you despise the people who call him on it because you value him over your country.

Have you?

Do you commonly believe men who have perjured themselves before Congress? Do you trust them?

The free press is free to be an instrument of destruction by altering its perception of what's right and wrong, moral and just, based on page views.

What could possibly be wrong with that?
