So EPA, IRS, OSHA....
It's funny, it seems like what Trump is spinning down are any agencies that prove problematic to his Robber Barren friends. Some of those and more do need to be reduced, but some of them (like the EPA) exist for a reason and need to continue to exist in a proper role.
Actually it does matter where the budget cuts come from because some of those can come back to hurt us all. Some of the biggest money gobblers are having their budgets increased. And spending could go up and deficit down IF also income went up by more than the spending increases.
That's a nice little bit of supposition. But seeing how Trump has already added to the deficit, I'll believe it when I see it. Get me in 10 years, we'll see if this worked out.
First off, your article is behind a pay wall, thank you very little. Secondly, what's the plan? The article was titled for Syria, there's more to the ME than just Syria. And Trump bombed it...well certain parts of it, after telling Russia where he was going to bomb. We've been meddling in the area for almost 2 decades now. It's not just Obama, it was Bush, Obama, and now Trump. Look at you here, you're making excuses to keep fighting our Infinity War. So no plan to actually get out. We'll just have to sit there spending trillions for decades more I suppose. Maybe Trump can start up the Two Minutes Hate as well so we can glare at the enemy and remind ourselves that we can never stop fighting them because they're bad or something and totally our military interventionism is having no backlash.
There are perpetual spending increases and there are increases to achieve a certain outcome.
Domestic spending is the former.
If GDP continues to rise as it has the income rate will as well.
Obama let Syria get out of hand, let ISIS grow, and let Iraq go. You forgot to address that.
