Fox News Throws Jabs At Other Networks For Not Airing Trump Rally

I guess the question would be ---- is the President of the United States giving a speech to a massive crowd with standing room only newsworthy? Why or why not?

Ask Fox. Obama supporters had the same complaints about Fox not airing his rallies. Personally, I don't see why a news station should play political rallies aimed at their base. It's not newsworthy IMO.

Nah - if it was Hillary Clinton's jam-packed stadium with more people waiting outside to hear her they would've shown it. And Fox would've just glanced at it for a second and gone back to Hillary-bashing. Bias in the media --- also not new.

And Fox would never run a full Hillary rally. I watched a lot of networks when Obama and McCain ran, and Fox played more McCain rallies beginning to end than Obama. Their complaints about other networks being unfair, in comparison to their practices, are completely ungrounded, and it shows their hypocrisy and grievance mentality.

The issue is that there really isn't a counter position because Trump's entire base is built on bitterness over the denial of their silly border wall. Even Republican Senators have blamed Trump for his program of separation. For example:

There is no spinning here. It is so very extremely clear. This is Trump's fiasco and it is one that he has refused to correct because it pleased his faithful flock to defy the Left for their refusal to give them their physical wall. Before the age of ignorant Trumpism, the GOP agreed with the DNC that reform was necessary and that "the wall" was more of an analogy for greater immigration laws and policies. However, FOX News-designed Trumpism entered the scene and the GOP jumped on the band wagon of actually building an ignorant wall. Any talk of reform stopped as the mindless mob began cheering for the Berlin Wall on our southern border.

But the DNC's declaration that there will be no wall this January during the budget crap left Trump announcing that the "rich" military will pay for it next. Thus began a childish and obtuse effort to exacerbate every problem in the immigration system while blaming Democrats for it. And FOX News has been very clear along the way where they stand. FOX chose to defend Trump's false assertions that this was a Democrat problem and that reform can't happen because Democrats "love crime." Yet, even GOP Senators know better, don't they? A silly wall is not reform. It's ignorance and it is defeatism. So yes, this was a celebration and every kid that got separated was supposed to mean that Democrats did it.

But now that Trump has signed an EO, something he declared he could not, would not, do, FOX has decided that the narrative needs to shift to a rally of general support for Trump? It is so painfully obvious that I don't see how even the more intelligible FOX News viewer isn't insulted on how he/she constantly gets led down a path of ignorance.
WADR I know you think you understand but I'm listening to your explination and I can tell you you do not understand them as well as you think you do.

I could try to explain it to but I don't think it would do any good because you can't even get past things like insisting that Trump has a policy of seperated children from their parents. That's your opinion and that's fine but the other side does not see it that way.

Your never going to understand until you can remove yourself and look at it through their eyes. The only thing I can tell you is, many of the things you posted can be and is looked at in a different way.

That is exactly the issue. It doesn't matter that Democrats abstained from having to vote for Hillary or that swing voters erred on the side of not Hillary. Trump has managed to convince himself that his win and his mob of loyalists represent the nation at large. His effort to exploit and exacerbate actual immigration issues backfired. Even GOP members are calling this the "Trump Administration's policy."

One may wonder whether or not the GOP is worried about the November and 2020 elections. This obtuse defiance against all things defined as "Left" seems to be a concern going back to the repeal of Obamacare.

- After years of complaining, the GOP proved to not even have a plan to repeal and replace.
- Then the GOP settled into a bad pattern of passing only monthly budgets.
- Then the GOP followed up their massive tax-cut bill, significantly reducing government revenue, with a massive increase in government spending.
- Then even more GOP defied Trump's support of Roy Moore, who lost the election because Republicans either abstained or voted across lines (like what Democrats did in 2016).
- Now we see the GOP more concerned with actual immigration reform again, rather than the silly wall, after Trump made an effort to make matters far worse by associating the Party to a policy of inhumane separation.

Trump has proven enough that his judgement can't be trusted. From written policy to Tweet, even the GOP has to constantly question what they are supposed to do daily. Trump shoots from the hip because he relies on a frenzied, ignorant mob to dictate his decision making. And he seems to frequently confuse this PR focus on the mob with the population at large.

That's been obvious even before he became president. What I still find amazing is people bought the persona he created on The Apprentice. It's a good lesson in what happens when people buy the brand instead of the product.

There is a difference between a political rally and a circle jerk.

The vast majority of non-Fox MSM reporting is biased, negative, and has an agenda to attack Trump. A rally where he says things in full context that they can't snippet and have an "analyst" bash must be censored to protect the angry, shallow hive-mind.

I can actually accept why Conservatives betrayed what they used to profess to believe in. How does a Christian social/fiscal Conservative, who supposedly supports the military better than "the Left," enthusiastically vote for a man who denigrates family values, grabs female genitalia whenever he likes and treats women like bitches, and scoffs at military POWs? FOX News, that's how. After years and years of being fed obnoxious criticism over absolutely anything that could be associated to "the Left," FOX News greatly contributed to a growing bitterness and hatred. Denying Global Warming as a "liberal hoax," arguing for tomato paste as a vegetable to defy the Obama's, and seeing one ideology fail after another, Conservatives collectively grew to define themselves through their hate for Liberals. So, along comes Trump, who merely latched onto this hate, rallied it around some mindless slogans, and rode it to the White House. Luckily for Trump, his competition was only Hilary Clinton in the general election so he had abstaining-Democrats as well as swing-voters to inch him ahead.

BUT, what I don't get is how so many continue to blindly support and thrust their allegiance towards the man. He immediately betrayed all those mindless campaign slogans after elected to the White House. And he is a constant embarrassment through his behavior and poor domestic and foreign policy. This blind allegiance, no matter what, is what leads me to believe that most simply wanted to vote for a middle finger. And now that they have it, their bitterness is being satisfied with every new moronic Tweet or bad decision. Thanks to FOX News' continued shallow partisan game for ratings, the Conservative collective continues to only care about shoving anything in a "Liberal's" face. It's why FOX News and its viewers constantly seek to create an opposite argument to anything a Democrat say's, no matter what. And this is the group who supposedly cares more about the nation than all others?

So, when FOX News tries to argue that it holds a monopoly on integrity, as it defends Trump no matter what and rubs Trump's ass for rising in the morning, I have to laugh and mock its viewership who have grown to define their world in accordance to the latest FOX News propaganda tactic. There's a reason the multiple studies showed that their viewers are less informed. The FOX News tactic, now that he has signed an EO, is to ignore months of defending Trump's separation policy as a Democrat problem to solve, and admonish all other outlets for not caring about a pep rally. I actually get insulted for the FOX News viewers.

Considering that virtually the entire world sees Trump for what he is, while his loyalists continue to blindly thrust upon him their allegiance, wouldn't the hive be populated by those who are fixed to FOX News propaganda...the one outlet that constantly seeks to defend Trump no matter what? The story was the EO and how it may or may not affect the national issue of focus, not a Trump pep rally, in which FOX News tried to use as a means to recover/avoid months of defending the separation policy.

And note that the "hive" went from agreeing with Fox News about that separation policy to agreeing with Fox News that all others needed to focus now on a pep rally. The hive mentality is clearly not everybody else.

So what? The only people who matter in America anymore are Fox News watchers. Trump will again win in 2020....you progressives simply don't matter anymore. You're just background noise.

I think the MSM (excluding FOX) helps in this regard because the constant attacks create that siege mentality where defending the attacked takes over actually analyzing the issue in question. Then of course Trump's comments about every unfavorable report being "fake news" helps justify this view for his supporters. You wind up with the absurd notions like "they hate him because he's successful" nonsense.

That's insightful. A sort of symbiotic relationship that depends on each other for existence.
