Really? This is what a major cable news organization allows of it's hosts?



In no way, shape or form is ANYONE marching kids off to showers where they will be hosed off with Zyklon B. I mean, this kind of exaggeration is insane and, frankly, it makes any exaggeration Trump has popped out seem minor.

Scarborough is using clear hyperbole. One may disagree with his choice of words, that is fair. However, Trump doesn't just exaggerate, he flat-out lies.

It is exaggerated, but he was pissed about this, and he had good reason to be pissed.

He hasn't been on the show so far this week. I've been wondering why, and the answer might be that the network gave him a cooling off period.

They are just beginning to realize that the Russian and obstruction fiasco have failed miserably.
President Trump is not going to be charged with anything and he is not going to be impeached.
The left is slowing imploding. They are lashing out over and over. Each day it gets a little worst.
But be assured the worst is to come. It's to the point where they are like a cornered wild animal...
they could do anything!

My guess is he was just being hyperbolic, but it is difficult to tell from that short clip. I have seen WAY too many instances of these kinds of videos that depict one thing but then when watched in their entirety are clearly something else. Like Obama’s “you didn’t build that” or Trump’s “fine people on both sides” comment.

No, I don’t know if that is the case here as I don’t watch MSNBC but I have been burned too many times jumping to conclusions based on such short clips.

Taking 13 seconds out of context is not exactly the presentation of a complete picture.
 
This isn't the first time Joe and Mika have engaged in over the top out of control blatant dishonest rhetoric. They do it on a daily basis trying to outdo the day before. When it comes to Trump and those in his administration their rhetoric is personal, vitriolic, and often times just down right childish. This one about marching children to the showers may be their lowest one yet. They are the poster children that plays into the Trump narrative that the media is the true opposition party with an agenda.......fake news.

There are a lot of them in this country, and a lot of criminals too. But I think the 12 Trump campaign officials who met with Russians tells the beginning of a story that we'll never know the end of. I'm sure your version ends with Trump riding a horse into the sunset.

Given that the Trump administration is a enthusiastic practitioner of the Joseph Goebbels BIG LIE tactic, I imagine it is not out of line for commentators to bring up the specter of Nzism and their tactics when discussing the cruelty and excesses of the Trump administration.

Its really much ado about nothing.

The real point here is that they make thousands of inaccurate invidious comparisons. It's who and what they are. They are Faux.

He said they are lying by saying they will shower, then be reunited. It is a lie. Why don't they just be honest with the kids and parents and tell them they are being detained and seperated?

For example, you would do best realize the gross perversion of truth that Trump is attempting to foist vis a vis Kin Jong-un and North Korea. NK is a literal Orwellian state. You should know that. How could you not know it???

Trump was not "exaggerating" in anything he said about Kim Jong-un, Trump meant it, fool and hypocrite that he is.

The fact is that Kim is in a league with any Nazi as a homicidal sadist and maniac; Kim's body count is not as high as the Nazis' only because he does not command as strong a nation as the Nazis did.

He was 100% correct. Parents are being told their children are going to showers and then they never come back because Trump marches the parents off to Federal prison for the misdemeanor of crossing illegally. Their children are being sent to who knows where. Are you saying that is humane treatment?

He didn't compare Trump to Nazis. You guys are just being emotional. He said that telling the kids they would be showered then returned o their parents, was like the Nazi lie. My question is, why would they be taken away to be showered like that anyway? It just sounds like an excuse and lie to keep them calm, and that's what Joe said was similar to what the Nazis did.

I wouldn't be surprised if the kids aren't even being showered. I do think it's an appalling lie, because it is going to invoke memories of the Holocaust immediately. I wonder who is coming up the story line, because if there are white nationalist, Jews will not teplace us, types down there securing the boarder, separating them with such a lie that could invoke the Holocaust could be intentional.

I think that the quality of life these kids will have while their situation is getting sorted out is likely to be substantially better than it was anywhere they were coming from. They will be safe. They will be fed. They will have their medical needs taken care of. They will have a clean bed to sleep in. They will be provided education.

They will also be reunited with their families if and when that situation is resolved.

Furthermore, it isn't the Trump administration that put them in this position. It is their parents or whoever brought them across the border. This whole situation could have been avoided if the people that brought them here did so legally.
