United Nations Resolution 3379: "Zionism is a form of racism and racial discrimination. The General Assembly condemned the unholy alliance between South African racism and Zionism."

CNN employs a devout racist in Wolf Blitzer, who has never denounced his ties to a radical movement that has been condemned by the United Nations, which equated it to hate groups such as pro-Apartheid elements in South Africa.

The determination that "Zionism is a form of racism and racial discrimination", contained in the resolution, was revoked in 1991 with UN General Assembly Resolution 46/86.

The video is from 1989, two years before the repeal. Israel supported the South African apartheid regime during this time, and was the only major country that opposed sanctions against apartheid-era SA.

The fact that apartheid crumbled, thus changing Israel's ability to support it is irrelevant.

George H.W. Bush lead the push for repeal of 3379, which was dishonestly promoted as being good for the overall peace process in the Mideast. It was just another corrupt Republican leader doing favors for Israel at the expense of everyone else.

I did some math. 1989 was 29 years ago. Why should anyone care now? I think Blitzer is a putz but this isn't an issue that many people will give a crap about.

I care about important things. The UN and Blitzer both agree that Zionism isn't racism. Not sure what the problem is. Is it that they disagreed for two years or is it that the UN agrees with Blitzer now? Again, I think Blitzer is a putz so I am not defending him.

You are making a large and unwarranted assumption here. At various times the USA controls the UN. It can get policies in place that have no connection to reality. When it can't, it just goes ahead like the rogue nation it is and illegally invades countries, commits vicious acts of terrorism, and other various and sundry evil things.

Zionism is racism. How can you suggest otherwise when you have Israeli officials advocating genocide?

A day before Palestinian teenager Muhammad Abu Khudair was kidnapped and burned alive allegedly by six Israeli Jewish youths, Israeli lawmaker Ayelet Shaked published on Facebook a call for genocide of the Palestinians.

It is a call for genocide because it declares that “the entire Palestinian people is the enemy” and justifies its destruction, “including its elderly and its women, its cities and its villages, its property and its infrastructure.”

It is a call for genocide because it calls for the slaughter of Palestinian mothers who give birth to “little snakes.”

If Shaked’s post does not meet the legal definition of a call for genocide then nothing does.

Here's Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, literally kissing the hand of Rabbi Ovadia Yosef, who was a government sanctioned rabbi in Israel for many years.

Rabbi Yosef famously said that goyim (you) should be made a slave to serve Jews, because goyim (non-Jews, you) have no purpose existing on earth.

Rabbi Yosef also famously called for exterminating Palestinians, ala holocaust style.

This would be like the American President posing with the head of the neo-Nazis. But I guess Fox and CNN didn't report it, so it never happened!

So did the UK and the US for the longest time as well and really only changed after public outcry.
