Looks like Cohen isn't the best lawyer in the world, if he can't juggle multiple lawsuits at once. But of course, thinking Americans know this was all for show. And he didn't really have a case.

Embattled attorney Michael Cohen has dropped a pair of much-touted libel suits against BuzzFeed and the private investigation firm Fusion GPS over publication of the so-called dossier detailing alleged ties between President Donald Trump and Russia.

Also if he doesn't have time for this, does he have time for Stormy??

Also this doesn't bode well for the anti-media conservative agenda who want to throw all of journalists who tell salacious stories about the President in jail.

I suspect he fears the the Buzzfeed/Fusion discovery process, in relation to giving the Fed case(s) possible additional fodder.

But I do sincerely hope he soon finds time ... behind bars!

It will be interesting to see what he does about Trump's Stormy case.

I suspect the feds are interested, too ...

As far as I know, Stormy did not pee on Trump. But I bet Cohen didn't want Feds or Buzzfeed to find out he has Peetape and/or other tapes that buzzfeed could easily use to slander Trump. It's not really a smart thing to sue a media company.

That's an interesting angle.

It seems that Cohen may indeed have tapes, but no one knows exactly what they may contain. The similarity between Nixon & Trump is becoming eerie.

It could be argued the tapes brought down Nixon, and here there is also that possibility. It's almost like a screenplay.

This is all Roger Stone. It's the only playbook he knows so that's why things have played almost exactly the same, except with deeper (and more!) scandals.

Good point.

Yeah, I think this is all going to lead to a point where Trump's only defense will be political, rather than legal. He'll issue his pardons, and let the Republicans protect him. They have shown their willingness to work with any crook or creep that will further their agenda.

He's a lawyer. He's bound to a duty to do what's best for his client, right? And here he is, dropping the lawsuits and reaffirming his efforts to recover confiscated documents.

Eh it sounds like he is doing what's best for himself and actually listening to the advice of HIS lawyer. Unlike his own client.

The guy sure looks like a shyster. Between dropping these lawsuits and claiming high-profile clients who deny any relationship, he might be under a bar association microscope soon.

I really hope so.
