The media should, it’s their role, but the Mainstream Media have perfected the art of framing their opposition, and hiding from the public important information (which is their most insidious malpractice)...

The crusades of Vietnam and Watergate seemed like a good idea at the time, even a noble one, not only to the press but perhaps to a majority of Americans. The problem was that, once the AMMP declared its existence by taking sides, there was no going back....
It was not accident that the birth coincided with an identity crisis in the Democratic Party.

Many of them might not realize that Sinclair owns stations who are affiliates with ALL the networks.
Sinclair owned stations can be CBS, NBC, ABC, CW, FOX, anything at all, and they can be independents.
SBG doesn't care what network they are affiliated with, they OWN that station, that is all they care about.

This is why SBG, not FOX NEWS CHANNEL, is the new 800 pound gorilla in the room.
Fox Network only owns a small handful of stations, the rest are affiliates and then they have their cable channel, Fox News Channel.
But SBG owns 173 local stations, OWNS them outright, AND all they need to do in order to be a global cable satellite news channel is write a check every month and flip a switch.

And by doing that, they could OBLITERATE Fox News Channel, because SBG, with its 173 OWNED stations, has a 73 percent local market penetration already, right NOW, even WITHOUT a cable news channel.
The moment they flip that switch, FNC is TOAST.

I caught the ABC affiliate in West Palm Beach delivering this bit o' propaganda, and wondered about it at the time.

They are doing it all over the country, and now Sinclair wants to buy out more stations. The noose tightens around the neck of free speech. Fascism is thrilling to observe, eh? :(

The promos contain language decrying “biased and false news”, and accusing unnamed mainstream media figures of bias.[185] Stelter states that the script is written to sound like it's the opinion of the local anchors, despite the text being in fact a mandate from corporate management.[186] At least 66 Sinclair-owned stations produced their own version of the message, with the first being aired on March 23, 2018.[187] Sinclair-owned WMSN-TV refused to air the message (although its news is produced by Morgan Murphy Media-owned WISC-TV).[188]
