Why I left Fox News

I watch TV news because I want to know what the conversation is about but I take it with a grain of salt.

I go to political forms to see what the conversation is about.

Wasn't it Glen Beck, who worked for FN at the time, who debunked FEMA camps?

Beck has cried on TV. The network and Beck have even pushed to viewers that Soros is a Nazi. It's so irresponsible and disgusting.

At least with the News, you generally know who's zooming who.

There are often people on these forums who just parrot TV taking points. They don't think for themselves. They are also the least interesting people to talk too on these forums lol, but you can definitely learn what the pundits are saying by logging into these forums

I used to lay a lot of the responsibility for the modern-day, politically inept and ideological ****-eyed-ness, that has swept the right, on FOXNews.

But I'm not so sure.

Did today's Trumpian type hacktard become that way because of FOXNews or did FOXNews become that way because of the Trumpian type hacktards?

I think Fox News is hurting the GOP. I said on this site that I was concerned Fox News would do what they did under GWB now under Trump. Fox would just cheerlead everything GWB wanted to do and never criticize or challenge him. I remember his supporters were strongly on his side until it just became impossible. And I remember several people on this site telling me that Fox learned their lesson and wouldn't do it again lol.

Fox is all about demagoguery IMO. They know how to flare up their viewers tensions and fears, but offer no productive conversation as far as solutions.

Yeah, the rest of the media does it too. The MSM focuses on Russia and is neoconservative as far was international policy goes, none of which actually means anything to the common person. They don't care about kitchen table issues, and are out of touch. Their advertisers are the donor class. But the difference between MSM and Fox is that the MSM doesn't cheerlead politicians or weaponize it's coverage against politicians like Fox.

Beck used onions to make it look like he was crying. He was a complete phony and asshat.

Obama is no longer President.

You don't have to continue with that lie.

You’d never know that from watching Soviet/Fox propaganda.

We have a new brand of HDS now, Hogg Derangement Syndrome.

I’d love to see some PDS—Pence Derangement Syndrome; toot sweet.

And, i24news is the absolute best for me ...

You think Fox is a threat because the left can't compete with it?

How about... Fox is a threat because they are not doing their job as fifth estate to keep our democracy well informed. All they do is lie (directly or by omission), stir hatred and divisions, and they lack total objectivity. In most western nations, they do not meet the qualifications necessary to be called a news network. They don't engage in real journalism. They just ask a lot of questions? Like this? So that you can't accuse them of lying?

Your hyperpartisan hackery is such a sad distortion of reality that has become the norm among Fox fans. You don't care about truth, just keeping the flames fanned.

That's crazy if true, and shows how little respect he has for his viewers to lead them on like that

I bet CNN and MSBBC have not reported that there are less people collecting unemployment today than there has been in 44 years. That Black and Hispanic unemployment is the lowest in US history. That for the first time since the 1960s Black labor participation is equal to Whites. That is all from FOX. On the other to cable news and the networks they have nothing but Stormy Daniels and the Goggly eyed teenaged neo-fascist who want to repeal the 2nd amendment.

Fox local DC throws red meat at the race obsessed base by mocking the smart black kid who was accepted to 20 schools.

The success of a Black Texas teen accepted into 20 colleges across the country, including four Ivy Leagues, was enough to aggravate a trio of Fox 5 DC hosts who dubbed the feat “obnoxious.”

The Success of a Texas Teen Accepted to 20 Schools Rubs These Fox 5 DC Hosts the Wrong Way and It's Pathetic*

un****ingbelievable

I guess this rained on their Bell Curve parade.
