Had to look up who that Ralph Peters is ... came across his rant why he's leaving Fox.

Basically, he's upset about the FBI firings and believes strongly that the Steel dossier is genuine. Hence everything reported on Fox against those points he calls now "propoganda" in support of a "destructive and ethically ruinous administration".

Well, by golly, maybe he can join Brennan at NBC.

Ralph Peters has been there for years, is not an 'insipid token milquetoast' and has been free to speak his mind. So much for your silly theory.

Just like you in particular trashed 'Fightin' Joe Wheeler is memorialized with a statue in Capital Hall & of course deserves one.
A top confederate general he became longtime congressman from Alabama in the postwar years,
before he donned the US arny blue once again as a major general in the war with Spain.

You missed my point.
Someone suggested that Peters SHOULD remain so he could "counter the views at Fox".
I was pointing out that Peters was too powerful a voice and thus Fox would never allow it, as they only allow insipid token milquetoasts to counter the Fox bottom line.
I wasn't saying that Peters was a milquetoast, I was suggesting that's all Fox would allow as a counterpoint.

So in essence, you reinforced what I was saying.
Now that he has written such a letter (have you read it yet?) I seriously doubt he would be "free to speak his mind" over there.
They only liked him as long as he was in agreement with them.
 
Is Peters the guy with the real high pitched voice? Wears glasses, kinda small built? I think he was the one that got suspended by FOX for a time for calling Obama a derogatory word for a female part.

I hate to break it to you but committing treason against the United States in the name of owning other human beings means that one has already throughly trashed their own name.

But I'm not surprised you think murdering American soldiers deserves a statue.

IOW he didn't get his contract renewed.
The question is, where will he end up?
Once he commits to trashing FOX for his new meal ticket what else will he have to offer the Maddow viewers.
Maybe Trump hatred will be enough for an evening cameo but is it worth associating yourself with the likes of a psychopath like Lawrence O'Donnell?

Yea MSNBC has been the requiem for the likes of Bill Crystal, Steve Schmidt, George Will & Nicolle Wallace. Some of them actually IMO
seem embarrassed to be on MSNBC especially Will but a jobs a job I guess. All of them will never again have say in the conservative world.

If he had committed treason he never would have regained such senior positions in congress and regained the rank
of general in the United States Army. Even you ought to have known that.
