The Media's push to ban/restrict guns is pretty obvious now

"The media is out of control...?" Isn't that kind of the point of a media in a democracy, it's out of control?
So, I looked at the article, and correct me if I'm wrong here vut it's just a long, wordy complaint about fact checkers and their definitions of 'mass murder'. The author says that if the dead ones are gangsters, it doesn't count. The author also wants to juggle the comparisons to European countries with smaller populations, ignoring the fact that those stats get presented on a 'per 100,000 population' basis to make them valid for comparison.
It's all just more of the same, both sides manipulating numbers and proving what an educated friend of mine says about statistics, that they're 'creative mathematics'.
