    Greetings, Hatuey.

After I read your above post, I spent some time this morning trying to find where I read yesterday that it said 2014. I did read 1961 this morning, but I intend to continue to search for what I typed since I found it kind of surprising that it was so recent. Heaven only knows what the article I read yesterday was referring to, but I'm curious to find out!

That's the way I see it too. It is a blatant if unintended admission that their other programming is pointedly NOT conservative.

That would be an exaggerated read, as the press release does not explicitly say such. That would be my addition. *I* made mention of that as a demonstration of the lack of conservative-informed television programming besides Fox News, which I consider far too cartoonish to be taken seriously.

Yeah, David Axelrod had a great interview with him not long ago, as well. I'd recommend a listen, though I warn you, this podcast format is usually longer than an hour.

Yeah, you're right. I didn't read the OP carefully and took the clue from your thread title. I do take exception, however that Fox News is cartoonish. They are diligently giving important coverage to numerous matters that the MSM, including PBS, won't cover because it a) could make the progessives/statists/liberals/Democrats and/or leftists look bad or b) could make the President and/or others promoting conservative values look good. And they report the proper criticisms or mistakes of both sides too, something that is not so balanced in the MSM or on PBS.

So we'll see if PBS is changing its stripes.

As a still frequent viewer of old "Firing Line" episodes with Bill Buckley, a big fan of Ben Wattenberg's "Think-Tank," occasional viewer of "Uncommon Knowledge" and sad that the Bush Library's "Ideas in Action" series was cancelled, I'm happy to see something of that vein being picked up by PBS again.

When PBS wants to, they distribute the best conservative media and political dialogue on television.

I look forward to seeing; maybe it'll be rational and smart.

    I'll look for it.
I liked WFB, jr. The combination of intelligence and arrogance always makes me pay attention.
