Man Arrested for Making Threats Against CNN

Actually, the emotions behind your response are closer to the psyche of the man who made the threats.

WOW. Do you realize what you just NeverTrump of doing??

WOW. Do you realize what you just NeverTrump of doing??

It's nothing I haven't heard before, it almost doesn't shock me anymore. These people just don't want to talk about all the bad that some of their worldviews leads to and they don't want to talk about it so, then comes the false equivalencies, just for mentioning the facts.

Almost no Trumpsters came in saying this was bad and left it at that. We had to hear their opinions of CNN first or after they said it was wrong.

While CNN does clearly show some degree of leftist bias, this is not the appropriate way to approach the situation.

Could you rewrite this in English?

Thank you.

Ironically, you cowered from taking responsibility for the obvious ideological link between "fake news" and this nutcase's threats of violence, while randomly blaming someone you disagreed with for the nutcases's threats of violence.

You're making the claim that there's an ideological link between facts and a nutcase. Perhaps the onus should be one the party creating the fake news to begin with rather than the person who calls them out for what they are.

President Trump's tweet gifs depicting violence against CNN and constant rambling about "fake news" obviously played a role in directing the nutcase.

No amount of your complaining that liberals listen to "fake news" can change that fact.

So who should CNN blame for the Congressional baseball field shooting, themselves?

No amount of whining will ever excuse the yellow journalism of CNN and other left-leaning networks. The fact that you defend bias and inaccuracy in the Press tells us all we need to know -- you're desperate.

I didn't defend Fox News.

Whatever you're smoking -- please -- share it.

And yet you're developing a perspective on CNN that has no basis in the reality reported by the consensus of mainstream news outlets.

This type of rhetoric is exactly WHY the guy said he did what he did. It's dangerous and shouldn't be condoned especially when you play loose and fast with the facts.

Do you remember who started the hysteria over fake news? It was Democrats, after losing the White House in 2016. Before they concocted the fairytale about Russia costing them the election, they were screaming from the rooftops that fake news on social media was to blame. We know that this in itself was fake news!

So your side invented the narrative in the first place, and now your complaining about it getting out of hand?

LMAO, you got me on a glaring typo fair and square.

What I meant to say was, do you realize what you just accused NeverTrump of doing??

Stochastic terrorism.

No you are wrong. Fake news did infiltrate social media, fake news from Russia. This was determined and basically proven by each social media company in each of the various investigations that are ongoing in relation to the Russians. The President himself has retweeted fake news from fake news sites or fake praise from what are essentially fake twitter bots.

What this guy did was call CNN fake news, which has nothing to do with Russia or actual fake news sites. It has everything to do with Trump being an idiot.

Your argument makes no sense.

Trump retweeted fake account run by Russians

You now want to squash both truth and free speech because one nut went on a verbal rampage?

Fascinating.

That would be Trump the Moron.
He wants to stifle media outlets who don't kiss his worthless ass.
Trump is an enemy of the COTUS.

I'm not wrong, as I was implying that Democrats blamed fake news for costing them the election, which was in itself fake news. Stanford University released a study which concluded that fake news from Russia wasn't a significant factor in why Hillary Clinton lost.

I never disputed the fact that people post fictitious stories on social media.

What this guy did was call CNN fake news, which has nothing to do with Russia or actual fake news sites. It has everything to do with Trump being an idiot.

CNN's bias has lead to them printing erroneous stories, as well as doing things that have tarnished their reputation.

Your argument makes no sense.

The Russian bot story was a nothing burger. Trump retweeted a Tweet that said, "we love you Mr President". Trump was never shown to be in cahoots with this Twitter account's owner, you're blaming him for nothing really; every celebrity on Twitter retweets praise from their fans. How was Trump to know that an account named 10_GOP was being ran by someone from Russia?

1. No. Democrats did not blame fake news solely for their lose. They blamed a majority of thing including Russian influence and the spread of fake news sites. And the social media companies think otherwise. New evidence is coming out all the time since that "study," that suggests that the study is getting more wrong everyday. https://www.snopes.com/stanford-study-proves-election-fraud-through-exit-poll-discrepancies/

2. That does not mean they are fake news, like what the President keeps saying. Just because they get things wrong sometimes...

3. How about not re-tweeting them? What's the point of tweeting, "we love you Mr. President?" What kind of person does that?

You're subtly changing my words, in order to negate them. I never said Democrats 'solely' blamed fake news, I said they blamed fake news, which they did, and been proven to have not played much of a role.

New evidence is coming out all the time since that "study," that suggests that the study is getting more wrong everyday. https://www.snopes.com/stanford-study-proves-election-fraud-through-exit-poll-discrepancies/

Where's the 'new evidence' here? Snopes is attempting to discredit the Stanford paper, but I don't see any new evidence that wasn't known at the time the paper was released.

2. That does not mean they are fake news, like what the President keeps saying. Just because they get things wrong sometimes...

They're worse than fake news because they are a billion dollar media company that had a prior reputable status, until they were caught supplying inside information to Clinton's campaign, as well as admitting that they were more concerned about ratings than the truth.

Fake news posted on Facebook has only a small fraction of the influence that CNN has.

3. How about not re-tweeting them? What's the point of tweeting, "we love you Mr. President?" What kind of person does that?

There was no 'them', it was only a single Tweet.
As I said previously, many famous people on Twitter retweet positive messages from fans. The bot retweet story was DNC- concocted hysteria, posited by Patrick Leahy to spread fear and confusion.
